"Fresh pasta"
This lovely, cozy restaurant offered a welcome break from the bustle, with warm and attentive service that made us feel truly welcome. We enjoyed a delicious dinner featuring fresh pasta, making the whole experience both relaxing and satisfying.
"Restaurant good but expensive enough for quality."
This restaurant is perfectly located—just a few minutes from the Coliseum yet tucked away from the main tourist streets. While the dishes were enjoyable, they didn’t quite reach excellence, and the prices felt a bit high for the quality offered. Additionally, there’s a 2€ per person service charge to keep in mind.
"Excellent pasta!"
Tucked away with an unassuming exterior, this small restaurant surprises with its excellent quality and flavorful dishes. We tried the chef’s lasagna and pasta carbonara, and every bite was a delight! Perfectly satisfying after a visit to the Coliseum and Palatine, we left completely full. A note for newcomers: there’s a 2€/person service charge.
"Very good restaurant a bit away."
We discovered this small restaurant slightly off the main tourist paths and were impressed by the friendly staff and excellent cuisine. Prices were fair—147€ for five adults—and the tonnarelli carbonara paired with focaccia comes highly recommended for a truly satisfying meal.
"Good experience"
This spot offers delicious Roman cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff and locals alike were friendly, and even on a busy Saturday, the service was prompt and efficient, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

"Good pasta dishes"
With very friendly service and tasty Italian dishes, this restaurant is a true gem. The pasta dishes stood out as particularly excellent, making it a highly recommended stop for anyone visiting the Colosseum.
"Nice and relaxing lunch with good food and service!"
Looking for a spot close to the Forum but away from the crowds, we found the perfect place. On a beautiful September afternoon, we enjoyed sitting outside in a tucked-away courtyard. The line for lunch was promising, and the food didn’t disappoint—just a simple margarita pizza with a beer, but cooked to perfection. The service was attentive without feeling rushed, making for a lovely and relaxing meal.
"Excellent Pasta Dishes and Appetizers in a Cozy Cafe"
We enjoyed a delightful meal featuring mozzarella and prosciutto, carbonara, and the dinner special—ravioli with bacon and pistachios—paired with the house red wine and finished with tiramisu. The appetizers and main courses were truly delicious, while the tiramisu was decent, and the house red wine was okay, leaving a little to be desired. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience.
"Great choice"
In the company of friends, we stumbled upon this restaurant just a few steps from the Colosseum. Our decision was guided by previous reviews, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The waiters were kind, the service impressively quick, and the traditional Roman dishes were prepared to perfection. Prices were fair for the area, making this a highly recommended spot for anyone visiting Rome.
