Hotel Zócalo is a very clean and secure hotel with friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable about the area, offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Roberto was particularly helpful, providing valuable information about airport logistics and local dining options. The included breakfast buffet is delicious, with attentive wait staff serving beverages and special orders in a spacious dining room. When weather permits, the windows are rolled up for an open-air experience overlooking the Zócalo, the cathedral, and the palace. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mexico City.
"Rocky start, but very nice place to stay, unbeatable location, and nice perks"
The café and hotel offer an incredible experience, providing a safe environment for kids while being close to many of the city’s main attractions. The staff were very attentive and gave us a warm welcome. The only downside is that the rooms are somewhat small, and options with two beds are very limited, which we discovered firsthand. Overall, a great choice for families looking for convenience and service.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Central Hotel Zócalo. The staff made our experience extra special with their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality—we are sincerely grateful. A special mention goes to Vianney at the Concierge desk, a cheerful and extremely helpful lady who always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to assist. At the front desk, Zindy, Kenia, and Daniel were equally outstanding—patient, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The warmth and care we received from the team made us feel so welcome. Central Hotel is fortunate to have such exceptional people representing them, and their dedication truly enhanced our stay.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of Mexico City. The terrace view was fantastic, and the 24/7 complimentary coffee, drinks, and snacks were a great touch. What really made the stay memorable was the exceptionally kind and professional service. A special thank you to Zindy, Ivan, and Karina at the reception, as well as Jose Luis and Daniel from the bell team—their hospitality made my business trip remarkable and enjoyable.

This hotel offers excellent amenities and a stunning property. Everyone on staff was very helpful and eager to assist with any questions we had. The coffee shop and morning breakfast featured a wide variety of delicious options. We loved the convenient location, which provided easy access to the city, and we felt safe throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean, and the daily little treats were such a thoughtful touch. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitely return!

The overall service at this hotel was a perfect 10/10. My favorite spot was the rooftop restaurant, offering amazing food and truly spectacular views. A special mention goes to the lovely and very helpful ladies at the café, Alondra and Daniela—I visited the café nearly every day during my stay and received excellent service each time.

Wonderful!!! The attentive and friendly staff truly make every visit special. Mr. José Luis and Mr. Raúl welcomed me warmly, Karina at reception was fantastic, and Alondra, Daniela, and Alex on 24/7 cafeteria duty—some familiar faces, some new—exemplify the “super friendly” team. I’ve been returning for the past five years, and each visit fills me with the same happiness thanks to the impeccable facilities and outstanding service. Our stay at the Central Hotel in Zócalo Square was pleasant overall. Special congratulations to receptionist Karina, who was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming at departure—her smile and service stood out. However, there are some important points for future guests to keep in mind. Access to the terrace is not available during events, so plan accordingly. The internet connection was not very strong, and the Smart TV did not work. Only breakfast is included with the stay, despite some tour operators suggesting otherwise; lunch must be arranged separately. Breakfast itself was excellent, but if terrace access is a priority, note that it may not be available during events.

Everything about this hotel was outstanding—the location, the view of the Zócalo, the attentive staff, and the cleanliness. Highly recommended! Guests are welcomed with a courtesy tequila or mezcal, adding a special touch. During a tremor, the staff handled the situation with utmost professionalism, taking guest safety seriously and following proper protocols. A truly exceptional stay.
