"Good service, regular drinks"
We visited the hotel for a day pass and were impressed by Marco’s excellent attention—he was always attentive and proactive in making sure we were comfortable. The drinks were a bit pricey for their size and seemed light on alcohol, but the food was perfectly fine. Overall, the service made the experience very enjoyable.
"Superb Hotel"
This hotel is excellent, with very good service that made our stay enjoyable. The location is also ideal, and we highly recommend it to others looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.
"A hidden gem in the middle of the city center of Mexico City"
The staff at this hotel were very pleasant and accommodating, even though I don’t speak Spanish well. Our room was clean and functional, with a unique layout since the rooms were originally bank vaults—an interesting experience once you step inside. Everything in the room worked well. The rooftop restaurant was enjoyable, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere, making for a very nice stay overall.
"Service"
Marcos provided outstanding service—always attentive, friendly, and proactive in meeting our needs, which made our experience truly enjoyable. We had a lot of fun, enjoying the delicious food, well-prepared drinks, and the vibrant atmosphere. The views were simply amazing, making it a memorable visit overall.
"Great service and location!"
I want to highlight the outstanding service provided by Santiago, the Bellman. He consistently goes above and beyond, always courteous, respectful, and incredibly helpful. Beyond his regular duties, Santiago often assists with Spanish-to-English interpretation, which has been invaluable to many guests, including myself. While language support may not be an official part of his role, Santiago has become the go-to person for numerous needs throughout the hotel. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help with even non-hotel-related matters truly reflect his character and commitment. The hotel itself is a beautiful property steeped in history, but it’s the staff—especially Santiago—that truly make the experience memorable. I sincerely hope management and the corporate office recognize what an incredible asset he is to the team.
"An intriguing place to stay. Very enjoyable"
This hotel features interesting architecture and is situated in a fantastic location. The receptionists were extremely pleasant and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The rooms are surprisingly quiet and dark once the door is closed, providing a perfect night’s sleep despite being in the middle of a busy city. The high ceilings add to the charm and spacious feel. The only minor challenge was the unusual door lock, but it’s easy to figure out with a little patience. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
"Disappointed, would not stay here again"
We stayed here for two nights during a quick trip to Mexico City. The hotel interior is quite dark, and our room had no windows aside from two small panels near the entry door. The rooms are very small, offering little space for suitcases, giving it a somewhat dorm-like feel. On the positive side, the rooftop area is pleasant, and the staff were very kind and accommodating, making the stay more enjoyable despite the room’s limitations.
"Great location, room with a few quirks"
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this distinctive hotel, which was formerly a bank. A few points to note: many rooms do not have windows—something I personally liked, as it made the room dark and easy to sleep in. The beds are extremely firm, though it’s unclear if this is typical for Mexico. The bathrooms do not have walls reaching the ceiling, so all activities—showering or using the toilet—are audible and somewhat exposed to the rest of the room, and the bathroom light can illuminate the entire space at night. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel is generally very quiet. However, we were woken early on three mornings by activity from what seemed to be cleaning or moving furniture in the pool area above our room, and one evening a poolside party went on late. If these issues might bother you, requesting a room not on the second floor could help. Our room was very clean, and housekeeping kept it tidy throughout our 1.5-week stay. While the bathroom setup was not ideal for me, it wouldn’t prevent me from returning—the excellent staff, prime location, and overall cleanliness more than make up for it.

A comfortable mid-range pick in Centro Histórico, close to museums, cafés, and cultural sites. Good value for travelers wanting central access without high prices.
