"Nice place not good for Vegetarians"
The hotel itself is very nice, featuring spacious rooms and great amenities. The view overlooking the Angel statue is amazing, and the atmosphere was quiet with a comfortable bed for a restful stay. The shower system was a bit confusing at first, but overall functional. Breakfast buffet was included and very good, and having a 7-11 next door was convenient. The staff were very friendly, and most spoke English, which made communication easy. The main drawback was the limited dining options. Room service fees were high compared to the small portion sizes, and there were very few vegetarian or vegan choices outside of breakfast. For guests working in the hotel, food options are quite restricted. Despite this, the overall stay was enjoyable.
"Best view of the city"
This restaurant offers the best view in the city, paired with excellent service. Ernesto, our server, was friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. The food was delicious, and the setting of the place made for a truly memorable experience.
"Sofitel our 2nd house"
It was our first time in Mexico City, and we were absolutely delighted. The hotel’s location is excellent, allowing easy walking access to numerous museums, restaurants, and local attractions. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service, especially from Tomas, Regina, and Ingrid at the Club. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home, and their thoughtful recommendations—shared with genuine passion—helped us experience the city like locals. If you have the chance to visit, don’t miss staying here. The combination of location, comfort, and heartfelt service made our trip truly memorable.
"Luxury at its finest at Sofitel"
Wonderful experience, excellent buffet. Amazing pool, breathtaking.
"Fine, but…"
We stayed three nights in the heart of Mexico City. The building is very modern, and the reception staff were courteous and welcoming. The rooms are unique and elongated, with contemporary décor—though personal, it didn’t feel particularly warm or cozy to me. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality, though it was busy with many guests. The pool area was nice and enjoyable. A major downside was the bar, which was extremely loud. On high floors, the noise resonated into the rooms, making it very difficult to rest. We left the bar after just five minutes due to the volume. If you plan to stay here, it’s worth considering the potential noise from the bar, especially on upper floors.
"My Citizen experience"
Good experience, the food lacks a bit of flavor but French bread is the best. The view is great for taking pictures.
"All the best"
Our stay was truly memorable. The rooms offered fantastic views of the city, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a delight—one of the best I’ve ever had—with a wide variety of options. The staff were outstanding: knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, making the hotel feel like a home away from home. We want to extend special gratitude to the concierge team—Erick, Max, Diego, and Abraham—for their engagement, speed, friendliness, and expertise. The city tour with Caesar was also excellent, thanks to his knowledge and friendly approach. Many thanks to the front desk team, especially David Onate, the front desk supervisor, and Jesus Montoya Bellmann, who welcomed us every day with a big smile and kind words. Overall, an exceptional experience from start to finish.
"Breakfast by Fernanda Morales"
Fernanda Morales provided perfect service throughout my breakfast—attentive, friendly, and professional. Many thanks to her and the entire staff for making the experience so pleasant.
