"Solid well run restaurant with good selections."

The service at both the bar and tables was excellent, and the bar itself was well-stocked with an impressive wine list. The appetizers were outstanding—especially the octopus and pasta. I ordered the duck for my main course, which was more gamey than I expected. While a true duck enthusiast might rate it five stars, it wasn’t quite to my personal taste. Overall, a strong experience with standout drinks and starters.

"Sneaky wine pairing"

Everything about the meal seemed very nice at first. We each ordered an appetizer, shared a pasta course, and had our main courses—three courses in total. I requested a wine pairing for my three courses and was satisfied. However, after asking for the bill, I was told I had ordered a four-course wine pairing (which made no sense) and was pressured into ordering a $20 dessert we didn’t want. On top of that, we were charged $8 for tap water. This was a far cry from the experience we remembered—unknowingly upcharged and left frustrated. We will not be returning.

"Italian"

The Italian restaurant at the Langham Hotel on 5th Avenue offers a set menu for Christmas lunch, and each course was surprisingly generous in portion. The food was tasty and the service attentive, though nothing about the experience felt particularly exceptional. Overall, I’d rate it 7/10.

"Sadly disappointed"

We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and surprisingly, it didn’t seem very busy. Despite a pre-fixe menu, the service was slow—I had to ask for my iced tea three times before it arrived during the second of four courses, and it was charged at $18! They advertised gluten-free options, but something caused me to get sick before dessert, possibly due to cross-contamination as nothing was clearly labeled. We had visited years ago and enjoyed an amazing meal with excellent service, but this experience was a major disappointment, especially given the cost. I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan to return.

"Dinner at Ai Fiore"

The food here is excellent, and our waiter was gregarious and clearly very knowledgeable about the menu. The entire wait staff was attentive, making the experience seamless. The pasta—three different dishes we tried—was outstanding, the fish was very good, and the desserts were delightful. The wine list is impressive, especially the well-priced domestic Chardonnays with a wide variety to choose from. It’s easy to say I’ll definitely be back.

"Romantic Dinner in NY"

I absolutely loved Ai Fiori! Staying at The Langham, I chose to dine here one evening and was immediately impressed. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic—perfect for a special night. Every dish was sensational, both in presentation and taste. The sommelier’s wine pairings were impeccable, enhancing the flavors beautifully. Combined with its excellent location, Ai Fiori is truly worth booking for an unforgettable dinner.

"Good but not extraordinary"

This restaurant right on Fifth Avenue offers very good appetizers, with the fish topped with caviar being a standout. However, the pastas and desserts are nothing extraordinary, making the appetizers the real highlight of the meal.

"Great Position and great Italian food."

The Italian food here is superb, complemented by excellent and friendly staff. The crab pasta was outstanding, the cold soup was refreshing, and the Tiramisu dessert is an absolute must-try. A delightful dining experience overall!

"Very nice, but not great"

Our meal was served warm rather than hot. When my wife mentioned it, they offered to remake her dish, but that would have left her watching me eat—so we declined. They did not charge for her meal, but that wasn’t really the point. The wine was excellent, though admittedly overpriced—welcome to New York!

"Dinner at Ai Fiori"

The food and service here are excellent—sophisticated yet approachable. The portion sizes are just right, and many of the flavors were entirely new to me, making for a truly memorable dining experience.

Ai Fiori

Located in the Langham Hotel, Ai Fiori offers refined Italian-Mediterranean cuisine with standout dishes like veal ravioli agnolotti and lobster bisque. The elegant dining room and impeccable service make it a top pick for a luxurious dining experience
