"Bank fraud – again"

I recently purchased two bus passes through the ALSA app. While the second transaction was successful and the pass appears in my ALSA account, the first purchase simply disappeared. The payment went through and was debited from my bank account, but I received nothing in return—no confirmation, no ticket, nothing. I attempted to resolve the issue by calling ALSA’s customer service (which charges premium rates), only to be left on hold for 15 minutes before the call was abruptly disconnected. No resolution, no callback, nothing. My bank confirmed the money was charged and advised that if ALSA doesn't respond, I’ll have to wait a full month to recover the funds—completely unacceptable when I’m supposed to travel tomorrow. Worse still, this is not the first time I’ve had problems with ALSA. A similar issue occurred just a few months ago. The company appears to take advantage of its monopoly on certain routes in Spain, leaving customers with no viable alternatives or timely customer support. It’s time for the Spanish government to intervene and open up these routes to real competition. Travelers deserve better than this broken system. Until then, I strongly advise avoiding ALSA if you have any other option.
