"Beautiful View and Great Vibe!"
The newly designed Ambrosia Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is impressive, offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. The food was excellent, particularly the dinner, and while it is a bit pricey, the overall experience makes it worthwhile.

Where do I begin? I stopped by last night after the kitchen had closed, and the wonderful Maurizio made me the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted—called the Hermes 💖. Naturally, I returned the next day and enjoyed multiple cocktails along with an unbelievably delicious dinner. It was my last night in Rome, and thanks to this experience, it was truly unforgettable. The service was incredible, the atmosphere welcoming, and the rooftop location offered a fantastic view. Perfetto! I will definitely be returning. Grazie mille!! 😍
"Underwhelming pricey food"
The food at the restaurant was underwhelming considering its claims and the prices charged. We enjoyed the onion fondant, but the lamb was underseasoned, and the large boiled mushroom served alongside it was bland, slimy, and unappealing. Our guests, however, had positive feedback about the sea bass. The rooftop was closed, which was beyond the restaurant’s control, but it would have added a pleasant atmosphere to the meal. Overall, the experience was a mix of highs and lows, with the food feeling somewhat overpriced for what was offered.
"Rooftop bar"
During our stay at the Artemide Hotel in Rome, we headed up to the rooftop bar on our first night for a cocktail and the stunning view. We were warmly welcomed by Maurizio behind the bar. I ordered the world-famous Porn Star Martini, and it was just the first of many throughout our week! Maurizio was an absolute joy—singing, dancing, and making us feel like family while crafting incredible cocktails. 10/10 experience—when in Rome, be sure to visit Maurizio and try the Porn Star Martini!
"Great location lovely veiw"
The restaurant boasts a fantastic location with stunning city views. Service was excellent, and the food was very good, though the wine was average at €49—I expected it to be exceptional. Overall, the meal felt overpriced; for €240, I would have anticipated an outstanding dining experience. While enjoyable, it didn’t offer the best value for money.

"Best Espresso Martini and superb service"
A beautiful restaurant offering excellent service and a very interesting menu at a fairly reasonable price. The highlight of our visit was the Espresso Martini, which truly stole the show.
"Cocktails with a view"
We visited Ambrosia Rooftop for pre-dinner cocktails and had a fantastic experience. The outdoor area had a wonderful ambience, and the service was excellent—very friendly and welcoming. Maurizio, who served us, crafted one of the best Martinis I’ve ever had. Watching other cocktails being prepared was equally impressive—he truly is an outstanding mixologist! A 10/10 experience.
"A gem in the heart of Rome"
First and foremost, the staff’s kindness and helpfulness stood out, especially Valentina and Melissa, who thoughtfully recommended a romantic table. They were attentive and precise—Valentina even advised us that we couldn’t dine outside due to the weather. The restaurant itself is elegant, with impeccable service and exquisite food. Every dish impressed, featuring homemade bread and vegetables sourced from their zero-kilometer garden, just as Valentina explained. The tiramisù caramel served in a flower pot was simply amazing, and the organic limoncello at the end of the meal was a perfect finish. A heartfelt note of appreciation to all the staff for being welcoming, friendly, professional, and smiling throughout. The only reason I didn’t give a fifth star is that we missed seeing the terrace—but we will definitely return soon. Special thanks again to Valentina! 🤗
