"Great business class travel – highly recommend."
I recently took business class flights from Australia to London, and the experience was exceptional. All flights were on time, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The lay-flat beds were incredibly comfortable, offering plenty of legroom for stretching out properly. The food was delicious, with a choice between Japanese and international cuisine. A nice bonus was the free inflight Wi-Fi. You simply need to ask a flight attendant for a 'voucher code,' which provides free Wi-Fi for the entire flight. The business class lounges were well-equipped, offering designated areas for both relaxation and work, along with plenty of food and drink options. On the Haneda to London leg, we were seated in spacious 'rooms' that were quiet and private. The ability to close off your space made the flight feel even more peaceful. There’s also a newly implemented booking system for using the shower facilities at Haneda, which is essential to reserve in advance — without it, you may struggle to find availability that fits your layover time. The only downside was that all flights were quite overheated. Although the provided blanket kept me warm while sleeping, the high cabin temperature made the experience somewhat uncomfortable. I’m someone who typically feels the cold, but the warmth was still too much. That said, this minor issue wouldn't stop me from flying with ANA again. Overall, it was a highly rated experience, and I would definitely recommend ANA for business class travel.
"Nice service"
We flew with ANA for the first time in over 20 years, this time from Bangkok to Tokyo (Narita). Check-in and boarding were smooth, and the seat was comfortable. The air crew was very friendly and accommodating, even offering to move us to a more comfortable seat due to our age. Both the Japanese and Thai air crew in rows 21-40 provided excellent service — kind, helpful, and always smiling. However, the meal was disappointing, as it lacked flavor. The flight arrived slightly earlier than expected. We made a mistake regarding our luggage, assuming it would be transferred to our domestic flight to Sapporo. But we found out we needed to pick up our luggage and check in again. Luckily, we realized this in time, and the ANA ground crew were incredibly helpful. One young female staff member went out of her way to take us back to customs, help us retrieve our luggage, and assist with check-in for the domestic flight. We greatly appreciated her support. Overall, we are impressed with ANA’s service, both in the air and on the ground. Their excellent customer care deserves commendation.
"Great customer’s service"
My flight from Naha was delayed due to air traffic, and I was worried I’d miss my connecting flight. However, the staff was incredibly attentive and efficient—they personally escorted me to the next gate where a bus was already waiting. Thanks to their excellent service, I made it home on schedule. Truly impressed with the support and coordination!
"We had 4 pleasant ANA flights within 8 days"
We flew in Economy class and had a pleasant experience overall. The ground staff were very friendly and helpful. The food served was good, and we especially enjoyed the scenic views of the snow-capped mountains during the flight from Tokyo to Sapporo (New Chitose). Only drinks were offered on that leg, which was a bit surprising. Interestingly, the plane was upgraded to a Boeing 777 to accommodate more passengers. On the return to Tokyo (Haneda Airport), it was the usual smaller aircraft. A solid and efficient experience.
"Sparse meals; served me a cold bread sandwich"
We flew business class on a 13+ hour flight and were surprised to find that only one full meal was served—and that was three hours before landing. A menu of light snacks was available upon request, but when we asked for something, the flight attendant seemed annoyed. I requested a sandwich, which was served cold straight from the fridge. When I asked if it could be warmed up, she reluctantly took it. Honestly, in business class, you’d expect at least a warm sandwich—cold bread just doesn’t cut it. The rest of the flight didn’t improve much. While The Room cabin is visually impressive, the seats weren’t particularly comfortable. Overall, not the premium experience we were expecting. I won’t choose All Nippon Airways again unless it’s the only option available.
"Pretty good"
I flew with ANA for the first time this month and overall, it was a solid experience. The legroom was excellent, the food was decent, and both the ground and in-flight staff were very polite and professional. The only downside was the connecting flights. Transferring from Narita to Haneda with just 3 hours was quite stressful, especially since immigration alone took nearly an hour. On my return trip, I had a 12-hour layover at Haneda. While the airport is clean and modern, most shops and restaurants shut down at midnight, which made the long wait feel even longer. That said, I’m already looking forward to my next flight with ANA in August!
"Good 3 star airline not 5"
The legroom was decent, but that’s about where the positives end. The food was okay, though not quite in the Western style, which might not suit everyone’s tastes. The in-flight entertainment was disappointing, with a poor selection of mainly old movies. Even though I paid for it, the internet didn’t work. However, the crew was nice and friendly, which made the experience a bit better.
"Our first time flying with ANA – Disappointed"
This was my first time flying with ANA, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with the overall experience. Compared to airlines like EVA, Korean, and Singapore Airlines, ANA felt just average. The plane was old and cramped, which didn't meet our expectations for a long-haul flight. The food was also a letdown – both the lunch and dinner were essentially the same, and we couldn’t enjoy much of it. I traveled with a group of seven, and everyone had a similar experience. Overall, we all rated ANA as average.
