I had an exceptional experience at this clinic. Two months ago, I underwent multiple procedures to restore full nasal breathing, including Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), as my airways were significantly obstructed. After my initial consultation, I was offered an earlier surgery date, but due to the holiday season, I had to postpone. Still, the team ensured my procedure was quickly rescheduled after the holidays and handled everything efficiently. The results have been life-changing—I can now breathe freely through my nose for the first time in years. Dr. Sema Koç and her team were incredibly professional, from expediting pre-surgery tests to providing thorough, compassionate care during recovery. As someone undergoing general anesthesia for the first time, I was especially grateful for their clear communication and calming support. "Disappointed with Treatment Results and Lack of Post-Op Support"

I was very disappointed with the outcome of my treatment and the lack of response to my concerns. The result did not meet my expectations, which I clearly communicated to the doctor. Unfortunately, instead of addressing my feedback, I was met with dismissive comments such as “the nose looks better than before” and “we have to wait two years,” which I found unusual and unhelpful. When I requested a free correction, my inquiries were either ignored or left unanswered. I also asked for related medical documents, but never received them despite multiple requests. The lack of proper communication and customer service added to my frustration. It’s especially disheartening because I expected more support and care following the procedure. While it's important that medical professionals are qualified, patient care and responsiveness are equally vital. Sadly, my experience fell short in these areas, leaving me disappointed and disillusioned.

"Honest Review After Nose Surgery – Pros, Cons & 4-Month Experience"

I had nose surgery with Dr. Sema in March, and I want to share my experience in detail, both the positives and the challenges, so it can help others who are considering a similar procedure. After thorough research and consultations with five different doctors, I chose Dr. Sema. What set her apart was her clear, professional answers and her genuine concern for my health over just aesthetic desires. My mother also felt confident after meeting her, especially after hearing, "Your health is more important than your wishes." Factors like her credentials, patient feedback, and our face-to-face meetings helped me make an informed decision. I went into the surgery feeling safe and confident. I had a complex case—advanced sinusitis, nasal trauma, a deviated septum, and aesthetic concerns. Now, four months later, I’m very pleased with my natural-looking, stylish nose. Although I still have some cartilage swelling and a slight bump, the compliments I receive reassure me that it looks unoperated and refined. I’ve even recommended her to three people who are just waiting to see my final results. A huge thank you also goes to her assistant, Havva, who patiently answered all my questions and always responded quickly and politely. Dr. Sema, I hope she’s rewarded well—she deserves it! If you’re considering surgery, I highly recommend at least booking a consultation. It will likely clarify a lot for you. Now, for the constructive feedback: The most difficult part of the process was not being well-informed about what to expect post-op. This lack of clarity added unnecessary stress. For example, in the fourth week, I experienced bleeding and a hard 1.5 cm piece coming out of my nose while cleaning it—something that turned out to be a hardened scab. I panicked and called the assistant, who calmly reassured me. Still, the anxiety I felt could have been avoided with better post-op education. I suggest the team provide patients with a timeline and checklist of common post-op symptoms and scenarios—this would ease anxiety and also reduce repetitive questions for staff. Another point of concern: the first-month follow-up appointment required an extra fee. Since it’s a routine post-surgical check, I believe it should be included in the initial surgical cost. Future appointments, being optional, could reasonably be charged. Aside from these points, my recovery has gone smoothly. You should expect some discomfort—like congestion, discharge, or odor—which usually subsides in the first few months. Patience and closely following aftercare instructions are key. To those considering surgery: it's probably easier and better than you expect. Be brave and trust the process! P.S.
