"Great location"

Nice hotel in a fantastic location, situated in a lively area full of restaurants and pubs. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast room is lovely, all-glass with views over the rooftops of Rome. Our room was small but cozy, featuring a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The bathroom felt dated, with an old tub that made showering a bit uncomfortable. The small elevator doesn’t reach all floors, which is something to keep in mind. Breakfast was well-assorted, offering a good mix of sweet and savory options.

"Beautiful view"

The rooms are beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is spacious, and the food is excellent. The terrace is huge, offering stunning panoramic views and breathtaking sunsets. Highly recommended!

"Nice location, nice hotel, nice staff"

The hotel is in an excellent location, but the junior suite felt a bit small for its category. The breakfast room offers a stunning, almost stratospheric view; however, the service needs improvement. The staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than attending to guests, and they rarely offered hot drinks like cappuccinos or espresso unless prompted. I also expected a self-service arrangement, but that was not the case. Additionally, I was unable to access Rai channels from my suite. Despite the kind concierge assuring me that a colleague would address the issue, nothing changed. It’s surprising that Rai isn’t available in Rome, but overall, these aspects could use improvement.

"That’s crazy!"

Excellent! The location is beautiful and strategic—close to St. Peter’s and Castel Sant’Angelo. The views are breathtaking, the service is friendly and top-notch, and the rooms are spacious and super clean. I visited three years ago and it didn’t disappoint—if anything, I fell in love all over again. Highly recommended!

"Mixed experience"

This hotel does not live up to a four-star rating. The rooms are very small, with almost no storage space for suitcases or personal belongings. The reception staff were cold and unresponsive. I had requested a special room for a marriage proposal, but received no response. Additionally, the bathroom had no space or amenities to place toiletries. Overall, I would rate this property at most two stars.

"Great view has its price"

We only visited the Rooftop Bar, which is also open to non-hotel guests. The view over Rome is stunning. Prices are high, but the experience is worth it.

"Look for rooms with a kettle."

The hotel is ideally located for visiting the Vatican. My room on the 3rd floor was very nice, with a kettle, tea and coffee, and a large bathroom. However, after extending my stay, I moved into a smaller, 2-star room on the 5th floor with no kettle and a tiny bathroom. I accepted it for the extra night, but it was a noticeable downgrade.

"Great hotel near Vatican"

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooftop terrace and bar were a highlight for our party of two. Rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is conveniently located near Vatican City, with a good selection of eateries nearby if you prefer alternatives to the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying.

"Suite Hotel to review"

We stayed in the suite for one night. Honestly, it’s not worth the cost. The room feels outdated, with minimal lighting and an uncomfortable bed. The carpet extends even into the bathroom, and the Jacuzzi area could be improved with better lighting. Basic amenities like soap weren’t provided initially, and we had to ask for them. The breakfast was good, though, with a lovely view of San Pietro.

"Good room- pricy for food and drinks"

We booked a superior triple room for one night but were pleasantly surprised with a junior suite—very spacious, clean, and with nice views. The hotel’s rooftop terrace offers amazing vistas, though we were limited to 40 minutes even as hotel guests. Prices for drinks and food were high (€13 for wine, €10 for a coke). Staff seemed aloof and disinterested. Note that the hotel has a large staircase at the entrance with no obvious disabled access. Breakfast was basic. A minor point: the carpet in the lift needed vacuuming, which stood out for a 4-star property.

Atlante Star Hotel

Stylish 4★ hotel in the Prati/Vatican area, offering modern rooms and easy access to St. Peter’s Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo. Great location for sightseers.
