"Worst airline experience"

Departing from Ramstein, Germany as military personnel, and our flight has been delayed over 4 hours with excuse after excuse and no real accountability. The flight crew was clearly frustrated too. To make things worse, they ran out of snacks before the flight even took off. Completely unacceptable and disappointing treatment, especially for those serving.

"Repatriation Flight"

We were two Thomas Cook passengers who had paid for premium seats to enjoy a bit more space. On this repatriation flight with Atlas Air, that meant absolutely nothing. We were randomly assigned cramped seats on an outdated plane, despite visible empty rows where some people stretched out across four seats. The flight was delayed by two hours even though the aircraft had been sitting outside well before the original departure time—total lack of organization. On the plus side, the cabin crew was pleasant, the plane was clean, and the meals were decent. But the entertainment was via overhead screens, and no earphones were provided. Overall, this experience felt like a bait-and-switch. I would not choose to fly with Atlas Air again.

"Always delayed"

This airline is absolutely terrible. Every time I’ve flown with them, there have been ridiculous delays—and always at the worst possible time. I’ve experienced delays of 48 hours and then another 24 hours on separate occasions. This level of unreliability is simply unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and fly with a more dependable airline.

"Deep inside Turkey"

Atlas Jet offers economical fares, especially for domestic flights within Turkey. My flight was mostly on time, which was a big plus. However, the experience was slightly marred by the behavior of some fellow passengers, which affected the overall comfort of the journey. If you're looking for budget-friendly travel with reliable scheduling, Atlas Jet is a practical choice—just keep expectations moderate when it comes to the in-flight environment.

"not great customer service"

I had a terrible experience with Atlas. I arrived at the counter needing to print my boarding pass for a connecting flight (after flying in on a different airline). The customer service staff made me stand at the counter for an unreasonably long time without explanation. Eventually, they told me I had missed my connection and would need to purchase a new ticket. No assistance, no urgency, just indifference. Because of this, Atlas is now on my “do not fly” list, along with Norwegian and Swiss. I’ll be booking with more reliable and customer-focused airlines moving forward.

"Turkish Delight"

I had special assistance arranged at Stansted, Istanbul, and Ercan, and I must say the staff at all three locations were courteous and helpful. However, Istanbul Airport was particularly challenging — it required what felt like a two-mile walk from one end to the other, and unfortunately, there was no buggy service provided. This meant my wife had to walk the entire distance beside my wheelchair, which was quite tiring for her. While I understand that coordinating special assistance at large airports can be time-consuming and complex, a better system at Istanbul Airport would make a big difference.

"What a joke"

Absolutely a joke of an airline. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 8:45 PM, but boarding didn’t even begin until 12:45 AM. Now it’s 2:45 AM, and we’re still sitting on the tarmac not moving. This isn’t just a one-time failure — this airline has repeatedly let passengers down, even after taking millions in COVID relief funds while claiming to be thriving. The lack of communication, planning, and respect for passengers’ time is appalling. Avoid if you value reliability and transparency.
