"Great Rooftop Bar with Stunning Views"
We visited the rooftop bar for a drink. It seems you need a reservation to secure a table, although we eventually got one after insisting a bit—they initially said it was booked for a private event, which didn’t really seem to be the case. Best to book ahead to avoid being turned away 😉. The seating area is cozy and offers fantastic views of Paris. The cocktails were great—slightly pricey, but that’s to be expected for rooftop hotel bars in Paris.
"Disappointing Experience and Poor Service"
We arrived at 8 PM and were told to return at 10 PM for access to the rooftop. When we asked the hostess if a reservation was needed, she assured us it wasn’t. Unfortunately, when we came back at 10 PM—hoping to enjoy our final night in Paris—we were turned away and told that, since we weren’t hotel guests, no tables were available. As a business professional who spends over 100 nights a year in boutique and commercial hotels worldwide, I was truly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and consistency from the staff. I urge management to uphold higher service standards and ensure guests receive accurate information. I’d be glad to discuss this further with management if they see this review.

It can get crowded, and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, but nothing beats the incredible views. The food was surprisingly good too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re on the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette.

Amazing! I came across this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. I was warmly welcomed by Léa and Justine — the kindest hostesses — who graciously let me access the rooftop even without a reservation. The view was absolutely incredible, with stunning panoramas of Paris that took my breath away. I was served by Inès, who was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout my visit. The staff as a whole were friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in creating a great experience for their guests. The drinks were excellent and beautifully presented, perfectly matching the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Overall, a truly delightful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this rooftop — great service, amazing views, and a warm Parisian welcome!

That said, it’s a fantastic spot for drinks, with a great atmosphere and an unbeatable backdrop. Perfect for a relaxing evening overlooking Paris.
"Rude Management and Disappointing Experience — Avoid This Place"
If I could give a negative rating, I would. We decided to visit this rooftop bar on our last night in Paris — a night that was supposed to be special. We went to the hotel in person to make a reservation and were told the rooftop would open in an hour. We chose to wait in the lobby, speaking with several staff members in the meantime. When it was finally time, we went upstairs. The host couldn’t find my name at first (it had been entered incorrectly), but once sorted, he was about to seat us. That’s when the manager abruptly intervened, stopping everything. He claimed my husband’s dress shorts didn’t meet their “dress code.” Oddly, my daughter and I were also wearing shorts — and in her case, even a crop top — yet nothing was said about our attire. We were told the dress code for men was listed on their website. How were we supposed to know that? Why didn’t anyone mention it when we made the reservation or while we sat visibly in the lobby for an hour? There’s also no signage anywhere explaining this supposed rule. Clearly, the staff aren’t aligned. The manager’s tone was rude and dismissive, and instead of trying to resolve the situation gracefully, he made us feel like we didn’t belong — as if we weren’t the “type” of guests they wanted. It was awkward and humiliating, both for us and for the people waiting behind us. This experience completely ruined our evening. What should have been a memorable family moment turned into an upsetting ordeal. If you want to feel respected, welcomed, and treated with genuine hospitality — do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of beautiful rooftop bars in Paris that understand how to treat guests right.

Tucked away in the streets of Paris, this rooftop bar is a wonderful surprise. It’s small and cozy, perched on top of a hotel with a perfect view of the city. A great spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in the Paris skyline.
"Beautiful views, disappointing service"
The bar has a lovely view of the city, and the drinks were amazing. Unfortunately, the overall vibe and service really let the experience down. The hostess was quite rude and refused to seat us at a better table when we asked — even though it stayed empty for ages. Strangely, when the couple next to us requested to move, she agreed right away. Not sure the view and cocktails were worth putting up with that kind of service, to be honest.
"Looks Good in Photos, Terrible in Reality"
If you’re looking for a place that only looks nice in pictures, this is it. If you want to deal with rude and unwelcoming staff, you’ve found the right spot. My experience was awful — I was turned away because I had slightly visible tattoos and was even told to go to the Decathlon store next door to cover them up. The way the staff spoke to me was disrespectful and unprofessional. If you’re hoping to have a pleasant time, I strongly recommend you never set foot in this place. The only positive thing I can mention? The reception area had air conditioning.
