Barceló México Reforma

"Room 208"
If it is possible not to use this room, there is too much outside noise. Everything else is fine.
"Great location"
This is a very good hotel with consistently excellent service—Barceló is always a reliable choice. This property is particularly impressive, and I highly recommend opting for the Premium Service, which offers fantastic room views.
"Great experience, perfect location"
The hotel staff were very supportive, especially since we do not speak Spanish. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance. The property was very clean, making for a comfortable and convenient stay.
"Glad to be back to the Barcelo"
Aside from a minor issue with the air conditioning and a disappointing breakfast in the Lower Level buffet, my stay was fantastic. The staff were attentive and fun, and the evening entertainment in the lobby was very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the food on the 12th floor and in the lobby bar was excellent. Hotel transportation to the airport with Ismael was a blast—he was a lot of fun! I look forward to staying at the Barceló again.
"This is a lovely hotel in Mexico City"
This hotel is very well located in Mexico City, and the service was exceptional. While I can’t fully comment on value since my stay was booked through a tour, the extra night we added was very affordable for what we received. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I had no issues with the room or any other part of the hotel, making for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
"Overall a good solid stay for the family"
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this centrally located hotel, which made it easy to explore different parts of the city. We booked the Premium Level City View Suite, and since it was designed for two guests, the hotel added a twin mattress that we positioned near the window in the living area. This allowed us to maintain a spacious layout without feeling cramped. The suite itself was generously sized, with good lighting, intuitive light controls, and a well-mounted illuminated bathroom mirror. The bathroom was modern and spacious, featuring quartz countertops and L’Occitane toiletries, which was a nice touch. We added breakfast to our reservation for just $1 extra, which was an excellent decision. We chose to dine in the restaurant each morning and found the selection to be good overall—freshly squeezed orange juice was a highlight. It would have been even better with more local fruit options like mango or guava. While food labels were provided, we expected clearer markings for vegan, vegetarian, and allergen information, as this has become standard practice in many comparable properties. Access to the Premium Level lounge was convenient for afternoon snacks, coffee, and bottled water, which we appreciated since we preferred not to drink tap water. The pool was open during our stay, and our son enjoyed it, though the pool area became very hot in the afternoon due to the transparent roof. Despite the positives, there were a few significant downsides. Road noise was noticeable even on the 11th floor, including frequent sirens. The shower pressure was unacceptably low, and water consistently leaked outside the enclosure, creating a minor safety concern. The large mirror placement somewhat obstructed movement within the suite, and the stone-topped furniture—likely marble—had visible cup stains that made it appear worn despite being clean. In summary, the hotel offers a spacious and well-located stay with good amenities, but some maintenance and soundproofing improvements would elevate the overall experience.
"Great stay"
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and the location was excellent. The Premium Program is well worth the small additional cost, offering extra comfort and benefits that enhanced our experience.
"Good hotel, central location and service quality price, recommended"
This is a good hotel in a central location, offering great value for money and easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, I would recommend it. In my opinion, adding a microwave in the room would make the stay even more convenient and comfortable.
