"Great Facility, But Disappointing Attitude from Doctors"

The facility itself is modern and well-equipped, which is a big plus. However, I found the doctors to be quite arrogant and not as professional or approachable as expected. It’s unfortunate, as the overall experience could have been much better with a more respectful attitude from the medical staff.

"Clean Facility Marred by Chaotic and Uncaring Emergency Room"

The hospital itself was clean and well-maintained, but our emergency room experience was nothing short of chaotic. We arrived late at night when my daughter’s condition worsened, hoping for prompt care after I’d recently received a COVID vaccine there without issues. Instead, we encountered a disorganized triage process: despite registering immediately, our daughter—who appeared jaundiced—waited over an hour before anyone examined her. The waiting area was overcrowded, and it seemed the doctors changed constantly, sending patients back and forth between rooms without clear communication or updates. When I expressed concerns about the lack of order, staff shrugged us off, saying there was nothing they could do. At one point, a nurse finally set up a drip, but did so with obvious reluctance and minimal explanation. By the time we were seen, my daughter’s swelling (edema) had already progressed, and her discomfort only increased. Ultimately, the facility’s cleanliness couldn’t compensate for the slow, dismissive treatment and the complete absence of empathy. I cannot recommend this hospital based on our experience.

"Impressive Hospital but Like a Maze — Be Prepared"

Çam Sakura City Hospital truly lives up to its reputation as the largest city hospital in the world. It’s modern, well-equipped, and staffed by highly qualified professors and specialist doctors that Turkey rightfully takes pride in. However, navigating this massive complex is a challenge on its own. Finding your way around can be overwhelming — I literally spent 45 minutes just searching for my car in the parking lot, which feels like a maze. If you're visiting, make a note of where you start, or you might end up wandering for a while. That said, may Allah heal all patients. — ES Durak Real Estate review

"Huge, Clean Hospital with Helpful Staff — Doctor Experience Varies"

Çam Sakura City Hospital is impressively clean and incredibly large. In fact, it’s so big that it can feel overwhelming at first. Fortunately, there are staff members stationed throughout the facility offering counseling and directional assistance, which helps a lot with navigation. The key to a good experience here really depends on finding the right doctor. If you're in good hands, the rest tends to go smoothly.

"Declining Experience Due to Overcrowding"

This hospital used to feel as clean and efficient as a private facility, with a manageable number of patients. Unfortunately, it has now become extremely crowded. Waiting times have drastically increased — for example, being told to wait over a year for a gallbladder operation is unacceptable. The quality of care may still be there, but accessibility has significantly declined.

"Impressive Facility, Slightly Inconvenient Location"

This hospital is truly massive — so much so that it's well known even by nearby mall shopkeepers. The only downside is its location, as it sits somewhat outside the city center. However, the metro provides a reliable transportation option, making access manageable despite the distance.
