"Good Location, Huge hotel"

Location: Excellent—central to all the major shopping malls. Hotel: Very large and busy. Depending on your tower, you may have to walk quite a bit to reach your room. Rooms: Possibly due to the tower I stayed in, the rooms felt a bit dated, though they were clean.

"Good Stay"

Pros: Hotel is in a convenient area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pool area is great, though we didn’t use it much. Cons: Rooms don’t feel like true 5-star accommodations. Our room had cracks in the walls (from an earthquake), though the staff did call to check if everything was okay. When I tried to make an external call due to a credit card issue, the staff wanted to charge me. Given the inconvenience and the cracks in the room, this should have been complimentary.

"Great Bangkok – average accommodation"

The hotel is reasonably comfortable, but in my opinion, it does not live up to a true 5-star rating. There were no power points in the bathroom, the toiletries were very basic, and the bed coverings were too narrow for the mattress. Our first assigned room also lacked a sofa or any additional furniture, leaving the bed as the only place to sit, which was disappointing.

"Family holiday Review."

We recently spent five nights here as a family and would definitely return. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well maintained, offering great views of the city. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by well-known shopping centers, markets, and plenty of eateries to satisfy everyone. The pool is also excellent, though it’s always busy, especially the sun loungers.

"Overpriced."

The hotel has a good location, though the pool feels too small for the number of guests. I stayed in the North Tower, which was fine. As others have noted, the water temperature can be difficult to regulate—either too hot or too cold—and the plumbing is noisy, with toilets in neighboring rooms audible when flushed. The staff are excellent and helpful, but the rooms are starting to look tired.

"Berkeley Hotel"

A superb hotel with huge rooms, plenty of space, and a large bathroom with both a shower and bathtub. The pool is conveniently next to the bar, and the hotel offers several restaurants. At the bar, meal service can be slow since it’s delivered from the restaurant. Every night, singers and musicians create a lively, enjoyable atmosphere. The only downside was the air conditioning, which felt too cold at 18–20°C.

"The Berkeley Pratunam – A Family recommend Place"

My stay at Berkeley Pratunam was a mix of good and average experiences. Housekeeping required multiple requests before action was taken, so service could have been better. However, the hotel made up for it in other areas. The food was a highlight, especially for us as Jain guests. They offered eggless bread and accommodated some Jain-friendly dishes served separately. A special mention to Ms. Roy, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the food options and ensuring we received the right meals—her attentiveness truly enhanced our dining experience. We initially faced inconvenience with room assignments, as our request to be on the same floor wasn’t fulfilled, but the hotel resolved the issue the next day, which we appreciated as a group of three couples with kids. The hotel’s location is excellent, with many shopping activities nearby, easily accessible. Overall, despite some service delays, the food and staff assistance—especially from Ms. Roy—were commendable. With improved service, future guests could have an even better experience.

"The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam"

The Berkeley Hotel in Pratunam is a fantastic place to stay in Bangkok. It’s close to major shopping malls like CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, Platinum, and Palladium, and near Pratunam Pier, making city tours fast, efficient, and affordable. There’s also a nearby train station for convenient tram rides. The hotel is spacious, and the staff are helpful, accommodating, and mostly fluent in English, so communication is easy. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. The only downside is the slow lifts—being on the 34th floor means waiting a few minutes for the elevator.

"Not updated folio"

On our second night, the hotel completely messed up our check-in. None of our key cards were updated, so the whole group had to go down to the front desk, exhausted after a long day of activities. The staff at the front desk were slow and unhelpful, and it felt like the hotel only reacted if guests showed frustration. Very irresponsible service—we expected much better.

"Price/value spot on."

We spent three lovely days in Bangkok, using this hotel as our base. It took about 35 minutes by taxi from BKK Airport, costing 500 THB. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, though the restaurant staff were less so. The restaurant is large, offering something for everyone, and the food was well-prepared and tasty. Our room on the 27th floor was spacious, clean, and offered fantastic city views, though it felt a bit dated, like the rest of the hotel. Considering the price (850 DKK/115 EUR per night, including breakfast for 2 adults and 3 children), I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bird Room Hotel Pratunam

Small budget hotel with bright, colorful rooms. Steps away from Pratunam Market. Great choice for shopping-focused travelers.
