"Excellent"

An excellent restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes made with high-quality local ingredients—truly very good! The only downside is that the owner seems a bit serious and not very welcoming, but the food more than makes up for it.

"If you love pasta, this is a must visit."

Waiting in line was absolutely worth it! The food here is fantastic, and the lasagna completely changed my wife’s opinion on what lasagna can be. The experience felt intimate and authentically Roman, with flavors that truly stand out. The pesto, for example, lets you taste the pine nuts like nowhere else. If you love pasta, this is an essential stop in Rome.

"Romance Romanista"

This small restaurant offers a warm, family-like atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. The dishes are well-prepared, served quickly, and straightforward—no frills, just solid, tasty food. With only about 16 seats, it’s an intimate space that perfectly fits the local vibe.

"Like at home"

Tucked away in a busy, tourist-heavy area, this intimate and quiet spot is a true delight. Everything is homemade, humble, and unpretentious, yet made with a genuine touch of care. Guests are seated in small groups of 2–4, enjoy a fantastic dish, and leave feeling satisfied and ready to explore Rome. Highly recommended — it’s truly worth a visit!

"Very good lasagna!"

This charming little spot serves very good food in a warm and friendly setting. Be prepared to queue outside, as seating is limited, but a 20–25 minute wait is well worth it for the quality of the meal and the cozy atmosphere.

"You have to get in."

We finally made it to this charming spot and were not disappointed. The people are wonderful, the food is exceptional, and the value for money is outstanding. Though the restaurant is small, it feels like dining with family. Highly recommend stepping in — you’ll eat very well!

"Nice restaurant, tasty lasagna"

This small restaurant, with around 10 tables and no bookings, is best visited early to avoid a queue—by the time we left, several tables were already waiting. We ordered generously for three people—two pastas, a lasagna, another tagliatelle, plus some roast vegetables—and found that a pasta each would have been more than enough. The lasagna was the best we had in Rome, and the tagliatelle was solid as well, though the vegetables were unremarkable. The waitresses were attentive and friendly throughout, making the experience even more enjoyable.

"Delicious & worth the wait!"

I had one of the best meals of my life here. The carbonara was absolutely incredible — hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted — and all of this at a surprisingly great price for Rome. A must-visit for pasta lovers!

"Wait, wait, wait and then eat quickly"

We weren’t entirely convinced that waiting in line for this spot was worthwhile. The food is good, and the concept—seven tables with pre-ordering at the door—is understandable, but it doesn’t reflect the traditional Italian dining experience. While waiting, you receive the menu and place your order; once your table is free, your food arrives immediately, and you’re out in about 30 minutes. This allows the owners to turn over the table four or five times, which is clever, but it means a one-hour wait for a very short meal. The food was tasty, yes, but not exceptional enough to justify the wait.

"A lot of fun"

A small but wonderful place, where the people make the evening special. The menu is traditional and well-executed, with honest prices. It’s a dinner full of conversation, music, and enjoyment. Highly recommended!
