"Nice hotel but quite disappointing service"
This hotel is beautifully decorated, with a chic atmosphere and an excellent location in the lively Roma Norte district. The on-site restaurant is excellent, but the quality of the breakfast included with the room falls short of expectations, especially for a property associated with Small Luxury Hotels of the World. While there are à la carte options, they come at an additional cost. It’s also important to note that the Superior rooms do not have external windows, only a high window opening onto the corridor ceiling, and the soundproofing is insufficient, allowing noise from the corridor to carry into the rooms. Considering the price level, these issues are surprising. Overall, the hotel looks impressive and stylish, but the service and some practical aspects of the rooms make the experience somewhat disappointing.
"Chic and perfectly located"
We stayed four days at Brick Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the vibrant Roma neighborhood, surrounded by many excellent restaurants. The location truly couldn’t be better for exploring the area. A special mention goes to Miguel, the concierge, who was outstanding. He arranged all of our dinner reservations at fantastic nearby restaurants and provided wonderful recommendations. He even secured tickets for the Frida Kahlo Museum, which was greatly appreciated. His service was truly exceptional and made our stay even more memorable. As for the room, we booked a Deluxe category, and even that was not particularly spacious. I would strongly recommend reserving at least a Deluxe room, as the other categories are reportedly very small. Overall, a stylish hotel in a prime location with remarkable service.
"Perfect boutique hotel in Mexico City"
What a perfect place to stay in Mexico City, Roma area. Everything was perfect, room, food, location and they have a spa!!!
"Fab Location – great breakfast!"
This hotel is in a fantastic location, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are cozy yet comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. We booked a standard room since we were only staying for one night, but we didn’t realize that it did not have an external window. Instead, the window faced the corridor, which was a bit impractical. That said, I really liked the location, the helpful staff, and the overall decor of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again, but next time I would make sure to book a room with an external window.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Brick Hotel. From the warm, attentive staff to the edgy artwork and stylish vibe, everything contributed to a truly memorable stay. The food and service were exceptional, and the location in Roma Norte is unbeatable. We found ourselves often changing our plans—not because of a lack of guidance, but because we couldn’t resist exploring the neighborhood’s galleries, shops, taco joints, bars, and restaurants. A special shout-out to our wonderful concierge, Mariela, whose advice and care made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!
"A good stay at the Brick Hotel"
We truly enjoyed our stay at Brick Hotel. The property is clean, quiet, and very comfortable, making it a relaxing place to return to after a day out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Its location is perfect for exploring the Roma Norte neighborhood, with plenty of great spots nearby. Breakfast each morning was also very good and a wonderful way to start the day. The only downside was the lack of a pool and exercise facilities, which would have made the stay even better. Overall, however, it was a very pleasant experience.
"Bad in waiters"
We attended breakfast with our family at Locksmith Restaurant in the Brick Hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our waiter, Edwin, provided service that left much to be desired. From the beginning, we felt rushed while placing our order, and he seemed unwilling to assist us. Whenever we asked questions about the menu or needed clarification, he responded in a way that felt annoyed and unprofessional. In addition, the food took quite a long time to arrive, and when it did, some items were incorrect or incomplete. When requesting the bill, I asked for a 10% tip to be added. He responded by saying that guests usually leave 15% or more. After we settled the bill, we noticed him approaching his colleagues and seemingly making comments about the fact that we had only left a 10% tip, which made us feel uncomfortable. It is truly a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately, this negative service experience overshadowed what could have been a very pleasant breakfast.
"Nice hotel, but skip the excursions"
This hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable stay, though it falls just short of being exceptional. It is ideally located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and cafés, making it convenient for exploring the area. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for our four-night stay. However, there were a few drawbacks. The lighting throughout the property was noticeably dim, which made the space feel darker than expected. In addition, there were several narrow staircases without railings, which felt unsafe at times. I was also surprised to find that we were charged for bottled water from the minibar, especially since similar bottles were placed throughout the hotel. The excursions arranged through the hotel were inconsistent in quality, so I would recommend considering alternative providers for tour bookings. Overall, it was a relaxing and charming stay with a lot of positive aspects, but there is room for improvement.
