"Charming Little Spot Off Gran Vía – A Sunny Brunch Experience"
With a name like Brunch Club, expectations are naturally high — and this cozy café tucked away on a side street near Gran Vía doesn’t disappoint. Though small, the space fills up quickly and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. I ordered eggs served over an English muffin, which were perfectly cooked. The yogurt came with fresh fruit, and the orange juice was, as expected in Madrid, freshly squeezed and delicious. The menu includes both hot and cold drinks, along with light and satisfying brunch options. The staff were genuinely friendly and added to the charm, leaving guests with a smile and a positive vibe. Ambience: cozy and pleasant. Food: simple yet well done. Service: cheerful and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
"Warm Service and Tasty Coffee – Better for Gluten Eaters"
A charming little spot with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff — I would have rated it 3 stars, but the service truly deserves an extra star. As someone with a gluten allergy, I found the gluten-free options limited. While sandwiches can be made gluten-free, my poached egg sandwich was missing the hollandaise, which made it feel quite plain. I wish they'd mentioned that beforehand. That said, salads can also be adapted for gluten-free diners. If you're someone who can enjoy gluten, like my partner, I'd happily rate it 4 stars and recommend it. The coffee was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable overall. A lovely experience, especially for those without dietary restrictions.
"Charming Spot with Quick Service and Refreshing Drinks"
I had a pleasant experience overall — the service was impressively quick, and the presentation of the yogurt bowl was lovely. The lemonade was especially refreshing, a perfect choice on a warm day. However, I found the coffee portion quite small for a filter coffee; a larger cup or even a second cup offer would have been appreciated. Additionally, the rooms could use some maintenance, as a few repairs are needed.
"Cozy Brunch Spot with Tasty Banana Bread"
I visited this small, charming place for brunch. The service was friendly and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Although I initially ordered scrambled eggs, they weren’t available, so we had to change our order. The food we ended up getting was average, but the peanut butter and banana bread was absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight of the meal!
"Wonderful Breakfast Spot – Tasty, Quick, and Friendly!"
I had a great experience here! The service was fast and super convenient, making it a perfect stop to start the day. Everything looked and tasted fantastic, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming 😊. I highly recommend the breakfast salad — a fresh and satisfying choice! 😉
"Good Crumpets, But the Experience Falls Flat"
The crumpets were genuinely enjoyable, but unfortunately, the overall experience was lacking. The staff felt as cold as my fridge — no smiles, no warmth, and no personality. Service was slow, and the butter was so hard it couldn’t be spread on the crumpets. The ambiance was also confusing, with different music playing in various rooms, creating an unpleasant mix. The space itself could use a refresh. While the crumpets stood out, the rest of the visit left much to be desired.
