"Very overpriced"
Service: Overall friendly and helpful, and there is someone around 24/7. Rooms: The room was okay, but no one explained how to use the shower heater, so we had cold showers for the first couple of days. Noise from outside is noticeable. Cleanliness: Could definitely be improved. There were stains on our sheets (see picture), mirrors (especially in the closet) weren’t properly cleaned, and towels didn’t feel fresh. Amenities: Guests share a kitchen and living room, which felt awkward. On our floor, someone even brought their baby into the common area, so we all got to share in the crying. Wifi was just okay. Breakfast: Needs work. Fruit wasn’t kept cold, and my waffle was burnt (had to ask for a replacement). There is some variety though. Location: Convenient enough. Rickshaws make it easy to get around, and the area felt safe. Price: Far too expensive for the experience provided. Really not worth the cost.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Bungalow 99. The rooms are comfortable, and we loved the setup with three charming rooms sharing a welcoming common area in the apartment. We especially appreciated the driver service offered by the establishment, which was incredibly helpful during our professional stay. It made it easy for us to honor our appointments in areas outside the city center. A great experience overall, and highly recommended!
"Nice stay but overpriced"
I booked a double room for one night at INR 11,800 (approximately USD 140) and received a prompt reply to my message prior to arrival. Payment was made upon check-in, and they conveniently accept credit cards. The surrounding area felt fine and safe. The room and bathroom were clean and matched the online photos, with a comfortable bed, pleasant room temperature, and good soundproofing—even with a festival going on outside, no noise could be heard inside. The living room area and balcony were lovely, making the place ideal for a longer stay. The staff was decent, though check-in was slightly slow. Breakfast was a mixed experience: the scrambled eggs and sausages were underwhelming, but the waffle I tried was delightful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the rates do feel somewhat on the higher side.
"Brilliant hosts, wonderful stay!"
Staying at Bungalow 99 in Delhi was by far the best experience we could have hoped for during our visit. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Aditya, who was an incredibly gracious host. The staff was exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home. The property is located in a quiet area yet remains conveniently close to all the major tourist attractions. A big thank you to Aditya and the entire team for their generosity and warmth—it truly made our stay unforgettable.
"Overpriced"
This hotel is clean and offers good facilities, which we appreciated during our stay. However, the main reason for our rating is the pricing—we found it overpriced for what it offers. It seems that in India, if you want a clean and average-quality room, you end up paying rates comparable to a 5-star hotel, which shouldn't be the case. The property is located in an upscale neighborhood that feels safe. Breakfast was decent, though the coffee was quite disappointing.
"Fantastic hotel!"
This hotel was an excellent choice and provided a quiet retreat after experiencing the hustle and bustle of Delhi. The rooms are beautifully maintained, and the common area and kitchen are exceptional. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay, and the location is ideal—just a short walk from Defence Colony, where there are plenty of great restaurants. Breakfast was also delicious. I would highly recommend staying here.
"Very cute and stylish boutique hotel – an oasis of calm – just avoid 4th floor!"
The prices for my normal rota of hotels in Delhi were though the roof on this trip, so i booked this last minute - and what a find it was! A spotlessly clean, modern design lead hotel, with delightful hosts. It's so leafy and green, and feels like a little oasis of calm and loveliness in this crazy city. The communal areas are seriously generous - a more commercial venture would squeeze in extra revenue generating rooms, but not here - the sense of space and calm is wonderful. Good green credentials too - no single use plastics here! I do feel a bit mean dropping a star, but there was one major negative to my stay. My room was on floor 4 immediately below the roof terrace. The water tanks are on the roof, and the trouble was every time someone turned on a tap or shower, a water pump loudly clicked into life and then whirred for an undetermined time. The unpredictable timings and length of these intrusions meant for a poor night's sleep. All that said, my friend who was staying a few floors down had no such problems, and had a blissful night's sleep. So for a perfect an peaceful visit i would recommend booking the lower floors. You certainly won't be bothered by traffic as the Defense Colony's roads are closed to vehicles at night.
"A very cool hotel"
I visited the stunning Bungalow 99 with a group of friends in November, and it was exactly what I needed. The service was fantastic—every member of the team was extremely kind, hardworking, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The rooms were tastefully designed yet modern, complete with a full kitchen and laundry machine. The bathrooms were particularly impressive, with their all-glass design and unique character. Located in Defence Colony, the property is in a quiet neighborhood (by Delhi standards) and conveniently situated close to everywhere you'd want to visit. I cannot recommend this place enough!
"Everything was great except location.price is a bit higher than it deserves."
This is a very nice semi-hotel with an apartment-style setup, featuring a shared kitchen, living room, and balcony. The rooms are well-equipped, nicely designed, and comfortable. However, the location is not ideal, as you need to take a taxi to reach the city center. In terms of pricing, an optimal rate for this type of accommodation would be around USD 100, including breakfast and taxes for two people.
"Beautiful, peaceful, and well managed"
I stayed at Bungalow 99 for five days with my wife and a group of friends while attending a wedding in Delhi, and we had a fantastic time. The private rooms, en suite bathrooms, kitchen, and common room were all exquisite—tastefully decorated, modern, yet warm and inviting. My favorite spot was the outside deck, a spacious area surrounded by beautiful trees and vegetation with elegant modular wood screens, offering privacy without feeling closed off from nature. The service was wonderful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious (a perfect balance of continental and traditional foods), and the onsite staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The location was also ideal, just a short drive—even with traffic—to excellent restaurants and cultural landmarks. When my wife and I return to Delhi, we will absolutely be staying at Bungalow 99 again.
"Comfortable Stay"
I stayed for a total of five nights and really liked the apartment-style setup. Each floor has three rooms that share a spacious living and dining area, along with a kitchen and a washing machine/ironing area—very convenient! There are balconies throughout the property, adding a nice touch. The staff and management were friendly and helpful, and the estate is located in a lush, quiet neighborhood. It’s also close to the Defence Colony market, which has convenience stores and eateries. Breakfast was simple, clean, and tasty. I would have rated this 5 stars had the value been better for the price paid. There are a few downsides: the internet is weak, and the shared common areas could potentially cause disturbances if other guests are noisy. During my stay, a group gathering ended at 9 PM, but even a conversation could be disruptive. The bedding could also be improved—a piece of velcro detached, which was uncomfortable, though flipping the cover solved it. Overall, a pleasant stay with great amenities, but I do think the price is slightly high for the value offered.
"Perfect journey"
A perfect journey to Bungalow 99! The facilities and services were excellent, and the location in New Delhi was quiet and peaceful. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I also really liked the breakfast. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience!
