"Tasty Food but Overpriced and Overcrowded"
The food here was good, and it's great to see vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. However, the experience was dampened by the long wait time—we queued for nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes just to get a table. For the price point, it felt overpriced, especially considering the lack of gluten-free options. A decent spot for plant-based eaters, but definitely not worth the long wait or the high bill.
"Overpriced and Unfriendly – A Tourist Trap at Best"
Cappuccino Madrid may appeal to tourists thanks to its prime location and terrace, but beyond that, there’s little to recommend. The menu is overpriced for the quality of food offered, and the service is slow, unprofessional, and often rude—especially on the terrace, where the staff seem more focused on turning tables than providing a good experience. They rush you with the bill before you've even finished, and there’s no tolerance for standing or chatting with friends, as they’ll ask you to leave abruptly and even suggest you shouldn’t return. It’s nothing like the welcoming atmosphere of Cappuccinos in Mallorca. Overall, it was a thoroughly unpleasant and disappointing experience.
"Perfect Start to the Day with Soy Coffee"
Today, I enjoyed a coffee with soy milk that was simply great — just the perfect blend of flavor and good vibes to kickstart my day!
"Came Back, Slightly Better But Still Slow Service"
I said last time I wouldn’t come back here, but my friends insisted on having dinner together, so I was outnumbered 😅 This time, my experience was a bit better, though the service remained super slow. The gnocchi improved slightly but still didn’t quite hit the mark. Thankfully, we skipped the fries — they were way too oily last time 🤮 One thing that still bothers me is how the menu tries to cover everything from sushi to nachos to pasta, which feels a bit all over the place. On a positive note, the Porción T. Platano y Caramelo was really tasty and a nice way to end the meal 😋
"Expensive But Disappointing Service and Value"
When we sat down, we knew it would be pricey (€16 for the smoked salmon toast pictured), but with that price, you expect top-notch service — which we didn’t get. There were many waiters, but they all seemed to do their own thing with zero coordination. I asked twice for a glass of ice for my coffee, and it never came. Overall, the quality doesn’t justify the cost.
"Delicious Food and Excellent Coffee – Just Watch Out for the Bees!"
The food here is fantastic, and the coffee is truly exceptional. While the prices are slightly high, the quality makes it well worth it. Outdoor seating would be ideal if not for the bees that tend to show up the moment your food does. Luckily, there's comfortable indoor seating as an alternative.
