"Location, location, location!"

This boutique hotel is extremely well located in the heart of Hipódromo, directly across from Parque México. As first-time travelers to CDMX, we explored several neighborhoods—Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Polanco, and Condesa—but found Casa Mali’s location unbeatable. The area is quiet, safe, and full of great coffee shops, street food, and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean, the staff are friendly, and the price is reasonable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. Breakfast is quite limited, offering only a Nespresso machine, juice, some fruit, eggs in the shell, bread, cheese, salami, and cereals; we ate there only twice during our four-night stay, preferring nearby cafés the other mornings. Noise in the rooms is noticeable—earplugs were necessary for sleeping—and the large fridge can be very loud. The in-room kitchenette, while useful for some, takes up significant space, leaving very little room to open and store two suitcases comfortably. Finally, the payment process was frustrating. The hotel placed a hold for one night prior to arrival, then another hold for the entire stay plus additional charges. At checkout, the final payment was charged and the first hold cleared, but the second hold has yet to be released even after two weeks, tying up a significant amount of money. The staff seemed either unfamiliar with or unwilling to manage the POS system efficiently, which was unprofessional and inconvenient. Overall, Casa Mali is excellent for location and comfort, but breakfast, noise, space, and payment handling could be improved.

"Great place to stay!"

Casa Malí is the Perfect place to stay in Mexico City ! Located on a tree lined, quiet street across from a beautiful park in Condesa, the hotel provided us with a large suite with every amenity one could wish for-full kitchen with washer and dryer, large seating area and comfortable bedroom with half bath. The rooms were impeccably clean, and one can always request additional linens if needed. The breakfast items were not numerous but just right for those who only want fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs and toast. Meat and cheese slices are also provided.

"location great for local neighborhood experience."

The best things about this place are its unbeatable location and the in-room washer/dryer, which makes longer stays much more convenient. Situated right on the park, you can enjoy morning walks, watch people in the lively neighborhood, or easily stroll to cafés, restaurants, Roma Norte, and even all the way to the Anthropological Museum. The room was clean and quiet, adding to a generally comfortable stay. However, there were a few drawbacks. The breakfast, while free, isn’t worth it—you’re better off getting a coffee and pastry nearby. More importantly, customer service left something to be desired. One night, my AC leaked due to condensation, and I had to improvise with a bucket for a couple of hours while the drip continued. When I reported it at checkout, the staff showed the maintenance person who would fix it, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. While I’m not one to demand compensation, I found their lack of concern unusual, especially since the issue disrupted my night and caused extra work for me. Overall, the location and amenities make it a solid choice, but the service could be much more attentive.

"Lovely stay"

We had a wonderful 12-night stay at Casa Mali in a top-floor master suite. The room was very spacious, and we loved opening the terrace doors for fresh air. The washer/dryer worked perfectly, and the hotel even provided detergent pods. The stay was very quiet, and we had no trouble sleeping. The location is excellent—right across from the beautiful Parque México and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries. It was also easy to catch an Uber or Didi for trips further afield. Breakfast was simple but adequate, with fruit, juice, and coffee to start the day. We would definitely stay here again, without hesitation.

"Cozy and Convenient Stay"

A cozy yet modern stay that balances comfort with style. The ambiance felt inviting, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Rooms were well-appointed, though I wished for a bit more space. The location was perfect for exploring local attractions. A solid choice for anyone looking for a blend of relaxation and convenience!

"Excellent choice in Condesa neighborhood"

Family of 5, three generations....very glad we picked this hotel. Very large rooms, perfectly cleaned, helpful staff. Unlike some others, we found the breakfast good. Soundproofing is amazing. Great neighborhood for walks, restaurants.

"Great location"

Casa Mali has an unbeatable location in the heart of Condesa, right across from the beautiful Parque México. The area is lively, with plenty of people dining out and dogs enjoying the park. The aparthotel itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff is attentive, especially Edna—she’s the go-to person for recommendations. A nearby gem is Metoro, a great restaurant just around the corner. On the downside, the noise level can be high, so light sleepers should be prepared. Breakfast was disappointing, with weak coffee, and the hotel only offers one welcome drink per room, which felt a bit stingy for couples. That said, the drinks aren’t very good, so the free one is at least a small bonus. Overall, Casa Mali is an excellent choice for location and comfort, though some small details could be improved.

"A Condesa luxury weekend"

We just returned from our first trip to Mexico City and absolutely loved Casa Mali. We stayed in a 4th-floor penthouse suite, which was incredibly roomy, and I was thrilled to find a stacked washer/dryer in the kitchenette—a true luxury for travelers. The location is fantastic, right across from the park and within walking distance of numerous cafés and restaurants, perfect for morning walks. The 24-hour doorman added a sense of safety, though I never felt unsafe. The front desk made our airport transfer effortless by ordering a car for us. On Friday and Saturday nights, the street below can get noisy, so next time we might request a room away from the busy street. The lobby and lounge area are beautifully designed, with tasteful décor and stunning artwork—huge kudos to the designers. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!
