"Wouldn’t come back."
The hotel’s location is excellent, and the employees were very helpful, always trying their best to assist with any issues we had. Unfortunately, the overall facilities left a lot to be desired. The room I stayed in had a bad smell, and the shower was difficult to adjust. On the first day, the water wasn’t even getting hot, so I had to take a very cold shower. Breakfast was also disappointing—not only was it of poor quality, but you are limited to ordering just two eggs, and must pay extra for more. Overall, despite the great location and attentive staff, I don’t think I would stay here again.
"Highly recommended"
We stayed for three nights and found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, and we especially loved the pretty dining area and courtyard. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. This hotel offers great value for money and is in a fantastic location.

As usual, the final judgment comes down to cost and the room assigned. Ours was rather small, not ideal for a prolonged stay, and somewhat tiring to access via narrow corridors and steep stairs. However, the price was very convenient for this charming colonial-style house located in the middle of a quiet residential area with a few nearby restaurants, like Punto Azul, though the surroundings are otherwise quite unremarkable. The breakfast was good and added to the overall value.

This is a very cozy place in a great location for exploring Miraflores. The hosts were attentive, precise, and communicated clearly in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The property looked exactly like the photos online, which was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.
"Lovely Location, but Room Feels Like a Sauna"
Casa Porta is set in a beautiful and tranquil location in the popular Miraflores neighborhood (though we later found Barranco to be even more appealing). The rooms are cozy, practical, and fairly priced, making it a good budget option. However, we were given a room without windows, and the temperature inside was stifling—like a sauna. There was no ceiling fan or air conditioning, and although we were provided with two small table fans, they were noisy and only helped a little. Breakfast was very basic, which is consistent with the low room rate. Also, note that bottled water sold on-site is charged at four times the regular street price, so it’s better to buy it elsewhere.
"Boutique hotel"
This property is a typical Miraflores house in a fantastic location, very close to Larcomar and near Larco Avenue with plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are more than adequate, and everything is conveniently located on the ground floor, making it very comfortable. The attention from the staff was excellent. An ideal place to spend a couple of nights in Lima.

The staff were lovely—helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well each night. Breakfast was good, and the avocado was 👌🏻. The venue had a cool vibe, and the location was convenient, with taxis readily available. Overall, we had a great time and would gladly return.
"Great stay"
This hotel is truly a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. There was constant hot water, which was a big plus. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay an extra night. This property deserves more than a two-star rating, and we would gladly stay here again in the future.
"Warm water instead of hot.."
We appreciated the close proximity to the surf beach and found the staff to be very nice and helpful. However, the rooms are very basic and not ideal for two people as they lack sufficient space. There was no hot water, only warm, and we experienced noise from the upper floor, so we had to sleep with earplugs. Additionally, light comes through the windows as there are no shutters or shades. In conclusion, the hotel offers exactly what it promises at a decent price, but don’t expect much more.

The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs, and the bedroom was comfortable. The location is very convenient, with markets nearby where you can easily buy food or drinks. The room rate was also reasonable. This is definitely a hotel I would come back to!
"Great little place in Lima"
This hotel is in a fantastic location in Miraflores, within easy walking distance to the Malecón and Park Kennedy area. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. While the hotel is older and a bit echoey, it didn’t affect our sleep as guests were quiet and respectful at night. Breakfast was typical of hotels in Peru, and the staff were friendly and attentive whenever we needed assistance. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay.

Simple guesthouse right by Larcomar shopping and Kennedy Park. Basic rooms with free Wi‑Fi and great location for exploring Miraflores attractions.
