"Disappointed, would not stay here again"
We stayed here for two nights during a quick trip to Mexico City. The hotel interior is quite dark, and our room had no windows other than two small panels that opened from the entry door. The room itself was very small, with little to no space for suitcases, and overall felt more like a dorm room. On a positive note, the rooftop area is nice, and the staff were very kind throughout our stay.
"Roof top rules!"
The terrace is beautiful, with truly spectacular views. Franco at the bar provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. The hotel itself is very nice, and the bedrooms were very clean, though slightly warm and a bit dark. Driving in downtown can be chaotic, but if you’re using public transportation or exploring on foot, the location is perfect.
"An intriguing place to stay. Very enjoyable"
The hotel features interesting architecture in a fantastic location. The receptionists were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best aspects of the rooms is how quiet and dark they become once the door is closed—perfect for a restful night’s sleep in the middle of a very busy city. The high ceilings also add to the charm and comfort of the space. The only slightly tricky part was the unusual door lock, but after a little figuring out, it worked just fine. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay.
"A hidden gem in the middle of the city center of Mexico City"
The staff were pleasant and accommodating, especially as I do not speak Spanish well. My room was clean and everything functioned properly. The hotel’s rooms were originally bank vaults, which makes for a unique and interesting experience—you’ll understand as soon as you step inside. The rooftop restaurant was also very pleasant, and the food was very good. Overall, a comfortable and distinctive stay.
"Great service and location!"
This post is to recognize the truly exceptional service provided by Santiago, the bellman. He consistently goes above and beyond in every interaction—always courteous, respectful, and incredibly helpful. In addition to his regular duties, he frequently assists with Spanish-to-English interpretation, which has been invaluable to many guests, including myself. I’m not certain whether language assistance is officially part of his role, but he has clearly become the go-to person for a wide range of needs throughout the hotel. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help—even with matters beyond standard hotel responsibilities—speak volumes about his character and commitment. The hotel itself is a beautiful, historic property, but it is the staff—especially Santiago—who truly make the experience memorable. I sincerely hope management and the corporate office recognize what an incredible asset he is to the team.
"Service"
Marcos provided excellent service—he was attentive to our needs at all times and maintained a wonderful attitude throughout our visit. We had a lot of fun enjoying the delicious, high-quality food, good drinks, and lively atmosphere. The amazing view made the experience even more special.

"Good service, regular drinks"
We visited on a day pass and had a very pleasant experience. Marco’s attention was excellent—he was always attentive to our requests and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The food was good overall. However, the drinks felt a bit expensive for their size and seemed somewhat light on alcohol.
