"Satisfying Results with Dr. Bora Yucel – Great Outcome with Minor Care Concerns"
I had a rhinoplasty and liposuction with Dr. Bora Yucel, and although I was nervous flying in alone from Canada, his entire team quickly put me at ease with their attentive care and professionalism. Dr. Yucel was honest about what could be achieved and gave me beautiful, natural-looking results. I'm especially happy with my nose—it now has a thinner appearance, a higher bridge, and a subtle projection at the tip, just as I had hoped for. At four months post-op, I already love the results and can’t wait to see the final look after a year. The liposuction also went smoothly, with very minimal pain—I’d rate it no more than 3/10. However, my only critique is regarding post-op nursing care. Dressing changes were infrequent despite significant drainage, and there were moments when hygiene protocols like handwashing or wearing gloves weren’t consistently followed. I often had to manage my own care to stay on top of things. That said, there was always someone around to check on me, and the lymphatic drainage massage before my departure was truly incredible. After two months of bruising and stiffness, consistent walking and self-massage really helped. Now, four months later, I feel and look great, and I’m genuinely happy with my decision.

"Honest Experience – Good Surgical Results but Rushed Process and Planning Missteps"
Two years ago, I had a thigh lift and breast reduction. While the surgical outcomes were generally good, I did feel quite rushed throughout the process. I arrived at my own hotel on a Sunday, and by Monday morning around 6 a.m., I was already being taken in for surgery by 9:30 a.m. I felt like I didn’t have enough time to properly consider how much of a breast reduction I actually wanted, and unfortunately, the result was smaller than I had hoped—so much so that I’m now considering small implants. I had also planned to combine the procedure with a family holiday over the Christmas period. I was told I could return to my hotel to be with them, but no one explained that I’d have drainage tubes attached post-op. Obviously, this made staying at a luxury hotel unrealistic. I ended up having the drains removed just two days after surgery, which isn’t ideal for proper recovery. In hindsight, I should have been advised that staying at the recovery hotel was necessary and that my original holiday plans wouldn’t be practical. I also wouldn’t recommend going through a major procedure like this alone—I definitely wouldn’t do that again. I don’t place all the blame on the clinic, as I could have planned things better myself, but I do think clearer communication from their side would have made a big difference.
