"Everything was great but there’s one BUT…"

The hotel itself is wonderful—everything from the facilities to the service was excellent and made for a great stay. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by one individual, a blogger named Inna Sudakova (as mentioned in a previous comment). She was constantly shouting, calling the staff names, and even filming other guests without their permission. It was truly unpleasant and disturbed the otherwise peaceful and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. I strongly recommend that management address this issue to ensure such behavior does not disrupt the enjoyment of other guests in the future.

"We love this hotel!"

We stayed at Sera for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025) and had a wonderful experience both times. Firstly, the location is very convenient—close to the airport, which we found fun because our child loved watching planes flying low overhead. Secondly, the children’s beach is fantastic! It’s super comfortable and perfectly designed for families with little ones. A huge highlight for us was the kids’ club staff—the girls there are amazing, and our child didn’t even want to leave them. Throughout the hotel, the staff are polite and friendly, and the sprawling grounds mean there’s plenty of space for everyone, so it never feels overcrowded. Events and concerts alternate every other day, and this time we were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful orchestra performance. The food is similar to other resorts in Turkey—dinners are excellent, and breakfast and lunch offer all the essentials. Bars serving drinks are conveniently located throughout the property. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Cleaning isn’t always perfect but still acceptable. We also loved the poolside dining option—it’s very practical since you don’t need to head back to your room or dress up for the main restaurant. One noticeable change from 2024 to 2025 is that out of the four à la carte restaurants, two have become paid options. The top two are now also paid, while the free ones didn’t entice us to return a second time. However, this wasn’t a major drawback for us. Overall, Sera remains a fantastic choice for families, and we’re happy to have made such wonderful memories here.

"Lovely Hotel"

This hotel is truly excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious food, good service, and fantastic entertainment every night. The accommodation and grounds are luxurious and beautifully maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. The only downside we noticed is that the hotel seems to cater more to German and Russian guests. As a result, communication with some staff members was occasionally challenging. We also struggled to find an English-speaking tour guide at the hotel lobby to help us arrange a few excursions, so we ended up booking tours online instead. Overall, it’s a wonderful hotel and highly recommended if you’re looking for quality and comfort.

"Carpet bugger."

At first, the hotel seemed lovely with its carpets, curtains, and plenty of upholstered furniture. As first-time guests, we thought it added charm. However, after a few days, we discovered the true downside of such rooms. Every night, bed bugs came out, and we returned home with countless bites on our bodies. Initially, we thought it might be mosquitoes or midges until one night we caught a few bugs ourselves. When we reported it to reception, no one apologized. They simply changed our room and offered to wash our clothes at 60°C, which would have ruined our entire wardrobe. On the positive side, the children’s animation for ages 1–7 was excellent. The food was decent (I’d rate it a 4), the cleaning was generally good, and the staff were polite. Sadly, the bed bug experience completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay.

"The motel is excellent"

The motel is very beautiful and conveniently located close to the airport. The food is tasty, and the rooms are cozy and sweet. The staff is very kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The animation team is wonderful, and a special mention goes to Darin, who was absolutely excellent and made the experience unforgettable.

"Mini fun"

It was a fun experience for my 2.5-month-old daughter. She enjoyed making cupcakes, face painting, swinging at the beach, sliding in the water, joining the mini disco, and playing in the indoor playground near the outdoor restaurant. However, I was less impressed with the food. Also, the presence of many cats outside took away some of the enjoyment for me.

"Our choice every year ♡"

We created wonderful memories at this hotel last year, so we chose it again this year. The hotel offers stunning visual beauty and provides a reliable and educational environment for our child in the kids club. We especially appreciate Ms. Emel and her team for their care and dedication. While the food is good, the flavors could be improved a bit. Overall, it’s a huge hotel we enjoy returning to every year.

"Ideal for dog lovers and flight enthusiasts"

If you enjoy aircraft noise and barking dogs, this is the ideal hotel for you! It’s located directly in the airport’s departure lane, with planes passing every five minutes. At the entrance, a barking dog adds to the disturbance, and at night all the neighborhood dogs join in. Expect long queues even in front of the elevator just to get a seat. The swimming pools are far too small for the number of guests, and the outdoor layout feels chaotic. The lobby resembles a dormitory, with people sleeping on the armchairs. Mealtimes are hectic too—especially outdoors where swarms of wasps surround the dessert area. Bustling and stressful rather than relaxing.

"Club hotel Sera great experience"

It was our first time at Club Hotel Sera, and the experience was truly amazing. Everything was perfectly organized, and the service was outstanding—definitely a 10/10. There was a wide variety of delicious food available across several different restaurants, making every meal enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

"Beach and steam room"

The hotel is very clean with plenty of outdoor space and extremely courteous staff. I especially loved the hotel hammam—it was spotless, professional, and the treatments were done by a woman, allowing for complete privacy in the cabin. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. While the buffet could be improved in terms of quality, there were still several interesting and enjoyable dishes to choose from.

"A 3 star resort in the Western Europe"

From the moment we arrived at Club Hotel Sera, there was a mix-up with our rooms, but thankfully the staff quickly resolved it. We loved the room itself, especially the sea view, appreciated the well-stocked mini-bar, and the daily cleanliness was excellent. However, for a resort marketed as 5-star, there were some noticeable shortcomings. If you’re driving, be sure to ask about parking; otherwise, you’ll end up leaving your car on the street. Our room had a cracked toilet and a very slippery bathtub without a handle, which led to one of our friends slipping and injuring their back and leg. The language barrier was a major downside. Very few staff members speak English, so if you’re not Russian or Turkish, communication can be frustrating. This alone makes it feel less like a Western-standard 5-star resort. The food and drink selection was extensive, but the quality didn’t impress us. Most alcohol tasted cheap unless you paid extra for imported drinks, which were shockingly expensive (€120 for a bottle of Absolut Vodka). The resort shops also charge triple the retail price. Wi-Fi worked well, even reaching the beach, but if you want mobile internet, know that Turkish SIM cards are expensive and require a passport. We tried all the à la carte restaurants: Sushi was our favorite, with tasty food, attentive service, and imported drinks. Olimpos (Italian) had great pasta and lamb, and Mongolian offered an interactive experience where you choose raw ingredients to be cooked in front of you—though the staff was surprisingly rude when directing us to our table. The Mexican restaurant was disappointing, with flavorless steak and poorly prepared shrimp tacos. The beach itself was clean, but instead of soft sand, there are rocks, so bring water shoes to avoid painful blisters. Overall, we had a decent stay and don’t regret the trip, but with the high prices and inconsistencies in service and amenities, we won’t be returning. There’s plenty of potential here, but it needs significant improvements to meet true 5-star standards.

"Animation is the best team in the hotel!"

We’re back at this hotel again, and it feels just as incredible as before! The animation department is truly the highlight here – bravo to Mr. Ramadan and his team for creating such a lively and engaging atmosphere. The Kids Club is another standout feature. Huge thanks to Emel Hanım and her wonderful team – Serra, Türkan, Tuana, and Büşra – for their incredible work and harmony. They really know how to keep the little ones entertained and happy! From the mini disco to concerts and live music, every detail is perfectly organized to ensure guests of all ages have a fantastic time. Club Sera continues to be the best choice for a fun-filled holiday!
