"Disappointed and Misled – Facelift and Eyelid Surgery Gone Wrong"
I booked a facelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, and was possibly going to get a brow lift. However, the surgeon recommended a temporal lift instead, adding £1,000 to my original £5,000 quote. Due to a banking issue, the transfer didn’t go through before surgery. While still groggy post-operation, I was pressured to pay via card, and even charged an additional £200 for using the machine, bringing the total to £6,000. Feeling vulnerable after surgery, I complied. A few days later, I noticed there were no scars or stitches under my eyes, only significant swelling. I raised this with the clinic’s owner, Cihan, who later claimed the surgeon addressed the under-eye area through the temples—an explanation that is medically dubious at best. Even their own Facebook page contradicts this, showing lower eyelid surgeries typically involve stitches under the eye—which I never had. To add to the confusion, when I asked at discharge whether I should apply cream under my eyes, the staff said no—knowing there had been no procedure performed there. Now, four months later, the bags under my eyes are worse than before, and my emails have gone completely ignored. I have since consulted with a qualified surgeon in London, who confirmed that no surgery was performed under my eyes, despite being charged for it. This experience was deeply disappointing and felt deceptive. I trusted this clinic with something very personal and expensive, and the outcome has left me not only dissatisfied but also feeling taken advantage of. I strongly urge anyone considering surgery at this clinic to do thorough research and get everything documented—especially when it comes to pricing, procedures, and follow-up care.
