A man named Ramy has been contacting me quite often, and I’m unsure if this level of communication is typical. If you're considering Dentakay, just be aware that upon arrival, you’ll likely be taken into a separate room where the price is increased from what was originally quoted. While I will say the dentists themselves are skilled, I unfortunately had a failed implant that required me to return just two weeks later—at my own expense. I had to cover the cost of flights and hotel for the second trip, and the aftercare team has been extremely difficult to get in touch with. My requests for reimbursement have been completely ignored. From my experience, once you're in and have paid, the clinic seems more focused on getting you in and out rather than providing genuine care. I’m honestly surprised by some of the glowing 5-star reviews, as several other patients I spoke to at the clinic shared similar dissatisfaction. Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about choosing Dentakay—do your research thoroughly.

I was recommended Dentakay by a friend who had his teeth corrected there, and I’m glad I followed his advice. I got in touch and spoke with a consultant named Tony, who was incredibly helpful. After a few text exchanges, he gave me a call and thoroughly explained the entire procedure. I decided to go ahead and flew to Turkey, where the treatment started the very next day. I won’t sugarcoat it—some parts of the procedure were quite painful, but that’s to be expected with dental surgery. Over the course of four days, I had 25 crowns fitted and one wisdom tooth extracted. The results were amazing, and I was able to spend the last two days of my trip enjoying Turkey with a fantastic new smile! A huge thank you to Tony and the entire Dentakay team for their hard work and professionalism. It’s truly appreciated!

"Mixed Experience with Dentakay – Great Clinical Care but Serious Admin Issues"
I had my first consultation and treatment in Antalya in July 2024, and unfortunately, it came with many issues—primarily administrative, but also some concerns about hygiene practices and a lack of effective aftercare. For my second visit, I specifically requested to be treated at the Nish clinic in Istanbul, and the clinical experience there was vastly better. The staff, including my liaison, doctor, and nurse, were fantastic. There was an initial issue with the lower crowns, but it was quickly resolved, and the new teeth look great aesthetically and seem mechanically sound—though only time will truly tell. The main frustration this time was again administrative, especially around transportation planning. I waited hours for clinic-arranged transport on multiple occasions, and there seemed to be confusion and finger-pointing between the clinic and the Planning Team. Even worse, on my final day, no arrangements had been made for the final control appointment they themselves had recommended, and I had to get my own Uber just to be seen. Airport transfer was slightly delayed but manageable. Despite raising these issues several times, Dentakay's internal response was disappointing—at one point calling my concerns “unsubstantiated.” While I’m hopeful the final dental results will be worth it, I can't, in good conscience, recommend Dentakay due to the persistent administrative failures and lack of accountability.
"A Heartbreaking End to a Long-Awaited Dream – My Honest Dentakay Experience"
This review is not written out of anger, but from deep disappointment—and a sincere desire to help others make informed decisions before traveling abroad for medical or cosmetic dental treatments. Three weeks ago, I underwent a long-anticipated dental procedure at DENTAKAY Antalya, a clinic widely praised for its professional service, glowing reviews, and talented staff. My personal experience with their team was mostly positive: Dr. Ebrar treated me, and I had an exceptional liaison, Elena, who provided invaluable emotional support—especially since I traveled alone. The entire Antalya team was welcoming, diverse, and kind. Based solely on service, I can understand why DENTAKAY is highly rated. But despite the warm atmosphere and competent care, my results were devastating. This treatment was more than cosmetic—it was my 50th birthday gift to myself after decades of living with a single front tooth that was long, slightly protruding, and the source of significant self-consciousness. All I hoped for was a more natural, confident smile. Instead, I left with six oversized, boxy, unnatural-looking teeth that made my appearance worse, not better. Throughout the process, I raised concerns about the size and shape of the temporary fittings, but I was repeatedly assured they would be adjusted. That never happened. On my final day—after breaking down in tears—last-minute attempts were made to refine the results, but it was far too late. The final crowns remained flat, bulky, and completely at odds with the subtle, harmonious smile I’d envisioned. Back in the UK, my heartbreak only deepened. Friends, family, and colleagues (many of whom work in healthcare) were visibly shocked by the outcome. Rather than receiving compliments, I’ve been met with questions like, “Why did you pay to make your smile worse?” My new upper front teeth are large, masculine, and stark white. Even one canine now clashes with my bottom teeth, which shows how disproportionate they are. I’ve had to create a “media-friendly” smile just to hide my distress. I’ve cancelled all social plans, including a long-awaited trip home. I no longer feel confident or poised—qualities essential to my career in the medical field. I'm now living with what I can only describe as functional depression, knowing I can’t afford to fix this outcome anytime soon. Yes, DENTAKAY can offer great results—I've seen it myself in other patients. And yes, the team in Antalya were genuinely kind and supportive. But in my case, I ended up being the rare one whose outcome was worse than what I began with. And that’s the risk with traveling abroad for treatment: once your time is up, the recourse is limited. You're often left to manage the emotional and physical aftermath on your own. If I ever have the opportunity to replace these crowns, I will—without hesitation. But for now, there are no smiles from me. I simply can’t afford it—financially or emotionally. Please learn from my experience. Know that a great clinic reputation does not always guarantee a happy ending.

These weren't major issues, but they did affect the overall flow and coordination of the treatment—perhaps in areas like communication, scheduling, or small administrative matters. That said, I would still recommend Dentakay to others, especially for the quality of dental work. If they improve the minor operational hiccups, they could easily offer a flawless experience.
