"GREAT PLACE TO DINE"

The place is sensational and beautifully presented, making it highly recommendable for a visit. We enjoyed a couple of tapas and had some drinks at the bar, and the experience was truly engaging and memorable.

"Beautiful Venue but Disappointing Dining Experience"

The space itself is unique and worth seeing, with multiple restaurants housed under one impressive roof. We chose the tapas section, which unfortunately felt more like a low-end eatery. Service was slow and indifferent, and while a few dishes such as the lamb, meatballs, and white sangria were enjoyable, others fell flat. The steak was overcooked and almost unrecognizable, and the garlic shrimp even contained sand grit. To make matters worse, we were charged for an item we never received—thankfully, we noticed. Overall, the visit was disappointing. While the building is certainly worth walking through to admire, I would suggest dining elsewhere, as this experience felt more like a tourist trap than authentic Barcelona cuisine.

"Very friendly place"

A place where trendy breweries blend seamlessly with classic tapas, while also offering traditional specialties like jamón ibérico, creating a perfect mix of modern and authentic flavors.

"Great space, Meh food"

The venue is beautifully decorated, featuring multiple restaurants and bars, and it immediately reminded me of Eataly in the US. However, the food was quite disappointing—bland, overpriced, and not at all memorable. While I would consider returning for a drink to enjoy the atmosphere, I would not recommend dining here, as the experience simply isn’t worth it.

"Great tapas restaurant in a restaurant food court environment"

A fantastic tapas restaurant near Passeig de Gràcia, right in the heart of a major luxury shopping area. Located in the beautiful El Nacional building, we chose La Taperia for our meal. We enjoyed a selection of tapas and beer, all complemented by attentive and friendly service, making for a very pleasant dining experience.

"Spanish high end food court"

This is a very large dining space divided into different areas and cuisines, which to me felt more like a high-end food court. We chose the La Llotja section and ordered a variety of Spanish dishes. Unfortunately, the wait between courses was excruciatingly long, and most of the food turned out to be average at best. As is too often the case, the paella was far too salty and the dessert overly sweet. While the setting is impressive, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.

"Mandatory stage"

Likely a must-visit for anyone arriving in Barcelona, this venue is divided into four distinct areas offering different types of food and wine, in addition to two bars—one of which also serves charcuterie boards. The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth experience. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to the portion size and quality, though this is to be expected in the city.

"A cheerful baillame"

This restaurant is more about the atmosphere than the food. Set in a former industrial warehouse, the space has been transformed to host several visible restaurant areas, each offering different options including fish, meat, and tapas. During Christmas, the setting becomes especially enchanting, with bright lights and beautiful decorations adding to the charm. The food, however, is quite ordinary—I’ve had much better paellas elsewhere—and the service felt rushed due to the high number of diners. Still, the overall experience is positive and worth trying at least once for the unique ambiance.
