"Disappointing Service, But Management Tried to Make It Right"
Our experience at this seafood restaurant was mixed. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and didn’t stay attentive to our table. My soup arrived lukewarm, and he forgot the bread we ordered—then made excuses rather than apologizing. After we finished eating, our plates sat on the table far too long, and we had to call him over to clear them. Given it was a seafood restaurant, the lingering smell from the plates made us lose our appetite for dessert. We raised our concerns with the head supervisor, who listened respectfully and responded graciously by offering complimentary desserts and coffee. While the gesture was appreciated, the desserts were enormous and, after the earlier issues, we couldn’t finish them. Overall, the service let us down, but we did appreciate the management’s effort to make amends.
"Charming Spot with Variety, but Still Deciding on the Food"
The place is very cute, with a wide range of options and plenty of seating, making it a lovely place to relax. We only had a cocktail during our visit, as we were hesitant to try the restaurants due to mixed reviews. That said, we did try the gelato—and it was excellent! Maybe next time we’ll give the food a chance.
"A Return to El Nacional—Still as Wonderful as Ever"
I had the chance to visit El Nacional a few years ago and couldn’t resist returning—and I’m glad I did. The food, ambiance, and service were just as excellent as I remembered. This time, I tried the Pulpo a la Gallega (Galician-style octopus), and it was absolutely delicious. A consistently fantastic experience!

This is a good spot with decent food, a great atmosphere, and beautiful decor that adds to the overall experience. However, it’s clear the restaurant struggles to accommodate larger groups efficiently. Worth visiting for the ambiance, but better suited for smaller parties.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean restrooms made for a pleasant visit. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on it—though it smelled delicious. The drink prices were reasonable, and the overall vibe is ideal for a relaxed evening or even a romantic date. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to enjoy a nice drink in a charming setting.
"Beautiful Setting with Mixed Culinary Results"
This place is absolutely stunning, offering a variety of restaurants to choose from in a charming setting. However, while the ambiance impressed us, some of the food did not meet expectations. I was especially excited to try authentic paella, but unfortunately, it fell short—the rice was undercooked, and the flavors didn’t align with what I’m familiar with. That said, it remains a popular spot among tourists and is worth visiting for the atmosphere alone.
