Fiesta Americana Reforma

"Good location"
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, ideal for anyone looking to move around Mexico City with ease. It maintains the traditions and style of the 1980s, offering a nostalgic and classic atmosphere while being conveniently situated for exploring the city.
"CDMX Getaway"
The hotel is very well situated near Reforma, offering easy access to shopping, good restaurants, cafes, and the historic center. The surrounding area feels very safe, allowing for quiet walks at any time of day.
"No fu or fa (not worth what it costs)"
I visited between Christmas and New Year, 2026. The hotel itself lacks personality, though the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The reception staff seemed disinterested and rarely smiled. Taxis outside were constantly offering their services, which felt uncomfortable, especially when traveling alone as a woman. While the location was convenient and influenced my choice, the usual price does not seem fully justified for what the hotel offers.
"Great location"
The hotel offers good service and an excellent location, very close to everything. The bed was extremely comfortable, making for a restful stay. The carpet could use some updating, but overall the room was pleasant. One small issue occurred when housekeeping tried to enter the room without prior notice, which could have been avoided with a simple call to the room phone. Additionally, as a CTE party guest, the benefits were not clearly explained in the lobby, and it would have been helpful if staff had informed us of the amenities included. Aside from these minor points, the stay was very enjoyable, and I would recommend this hotel.
"A family weekend"
We stayed for a weekend with my husband and two teenage children. While the hotel clearly needs some updating—old furniture, outdated carpet, and doors that close a bit harshly—it still lives up to its 5-star rating thanks to the outstanding service. The sheets, pillows, and towels were excellent and very new. Breakfast was diverse and conveniently served until midday on weekends, which was a great perk. The staff were exceptionally cordial and attentive. In the evenings, the hotel offers a complete snack service, including alcoholic beverages, perfect for those who prefer a lighter dinner. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, though an update to the facilities would make the experience even better.
"Very good hotel"
The hotel is older but very comfortable, with a perfect location and all necessary services. The food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I did not give a 5-star rating because the room shows signs of age, with minor paint imperfections and a carpet that had a noticeable old smell. Despite this, the overall stay was very pleasant and enjoyable.
"Watch out the Shower Head at a Mexican Hotel"
The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and pillows. However, the shower setup could be improved—using the overhead shower required a shower cap every time to avoid wetting your hair. The executive lounge food also needs attention: scrambled eggs were overcooked and hard, boiled eggs were served cold, and the toaster was not always available, leaving the bread cold at times. The buffet breakfast at the Reforma restaurant was good, but pricey, with limited options—no mushrooms, sausages, or tomatoes—which made it feel less value for money. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service, but some areas, especially breakfast and shower facilities, could be improved.
"Excellent Location, Poor Service at Reception"
The hotel is very well located, making it convenient for exploring the area. The room cleaning was excellent and maintained to a high standard. However, reception service was poor, and staff knocked on the door to wake guests early rather than offering a more courteous wake-up option. This detracted from an otherwise positive stay.
Fiesta Americana Reforma
Popular stay on Paseo de la Reforma with reliable service and comfortable rooms. Ideal for both tourists and business travelers exploring the central city.
