"BUSES ARE NOT SAFE"
Disappointed with FlixBus—twice. Unsafe buses and poor crisis management. I booked FlixBus twice in the U.S., and both times the bus had a cracked front windshield—a serious safety hazard. On the second trip (Phoenix to Flagstaff), we had a flat tire and ended up arriving three hours late. Instead of sending a replacement bus to minimize the delay, FlixBus chose to wait nearly two hours for a technician to arrive and change the tire. Why doesn’t a national company have a faster support network or a plan to dispatch a replacement bus in situations like this? As compensation, they emailed us a $20 food/drink allowance, promising a refund with receipts—but there was nothing around. No bar, no restaurant, no place to spend it. In the end, they didn’t even refund part of the ticket. The entire experience showed a lack of customer care and planning. Companies like Groome Transportation and Greyhound are far more reliable. I deeply regret not reading reviews before booking—learn from my mistake and avoid FlixBus.
