Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris

"Very good but not surprising!"
The site is truly incredible, and the service is impeccable, creating a memorable visit. However, the vegetarian menu fell a bit short, offering conventional dishes with flavors that were unsurprising and lacked a creative twist.
"Best hotel in Paris"
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Four Seasons in Paris. I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and had an amazing experience, and this visit did not disappoint either. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Paris.
"Great stay!"
This hotel is wonderful, offering an excellent location and top-notch service. I truly appreciated the professionalism and the warm, engaging way the hosts interact with guests. Be sure to set aside a morning to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast—it’s a highlight. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris or the surrounding area.
"Exceptional"
When we travel, we aim to stay at the top hotels such as the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, or The Peninsula. This was our first stay at the Four Seasons George V in Paris, and everything—from the greetings and attentive hotel staff to the room, room service, and restaurant—was impeccable. It surpassed any other Four Seasons we have experienced. Congratulations to the management and staff for delivering service that goes above and beyond. We will certainly be returning.
"Times are changing"
We enjoyed an exceptional dinner at the Italian restaurant, with magical and generous dishes that offered a splendid, gastronomic interpretation of Italian cuisine. The service was efficient, and the sommelier’s expertise, along with a beautiful selection of Italian wines, truly elevated the experience. However, there were a couple of disappointments. After dinner, we went to the bar for a drink, only to be told by a young waiter—despite the lounges still being full—that the bar was closing and we could order just a single glass. This was rather surprising for a luxury hotel, especially since it was not late at night and the restaurant still had many diners. It seemed unusual that guests finishing the last dining shift could not enjoy a digestif, as is customary in prestigious establishments. Additionally, the dress code among some patrons was disappointing. Elegant blazers and loafers seemed replaced by hooded jumpsuits and slippers, which detracted from the hotel’s traditionally stylish atmosphere. Times are changing, but it felt a shame in such an otherwise refined setting.
"Absolutely Stunning!"
Although we had dined at the George V restaurants many times during our visits to Paris, this was our first stay at the hotel—and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our expectations were far exceeded, perfectly capturing what a Palace hotel should feel like. From the moment we arrived, the service was kind, attentive, and exceptionally thoughtful. Every detail was considered to make our 25th anniversary celebration special—from securing sold-out museum tickets to arranging dining reservations and leaving delightful treats in our room. The newly renovated rooms are beautifully designed, with subtle touches that make a difference. We highly recommend staying in one of the executive suites with a terrace; we enjoyed a lovely evening sipping champagne while catching a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower’s twinkling lights. For anyone seeking a truly luxurious experience, this hotel is the best. Thank you to the staff for making our anniversary so memorable!
"hotel service needs to be improved"
I am very disappointed with my experience. Right from the start, there is still no designated area for smokers, which is frustrating. The service at the entrance was completely inattentive—when my husband politely asked to open the patio door, the staff responded rudely. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards expected at a hotel of this level. For the same price, I would highly recommend the Bristol instead. It is absolutely necessary for the hotel to address and improve the quality of its service.
"Professional stuff and kind people but…"
Our only issues in Paris were the water pressure in the hotel room—making it impossible to take a proper shower if the sink or bathroom was in use—and the mattress, which wasn’t the most comfortable, especially since the twin beds didn’t feel like a true king bed. However, the most important takeaway for me 😑 is this: as someone who travels for work around the world at least once a month, I have always preferred staying at Four Seasons hotels. Now I’ve realized that this hotel does not offer any advantages or benefits to loyal customers and seems indifferent to them 🤷♀️. This lack of recognition for fidelity left me genuinely disappointed.
"One of the best hotels!"
We had the most wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and truly cared for. The service was flawless—thoughtful, attentive, and always delivered with a genuine smile. Every detail of our stay felt effortless, from the elegantly appointed room with its Parisian charm to the thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The location was ideal for exploring the city, yet it was hard to leave the comfort and beauty of the hotel itself. Breakfast was an absolute delight, and the stunning floral arrangements in the lobby alone are worth a visit. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and deeply grateful. Thank you to the entire team for making our Paris trip so special—we can’t wait to return! 🌸✨
"The V in George V represents the 5 star luxury hotel that this is."
After not visiting this hotel for about 17 years, we were delighted to find that, while fully updated, it still feels like home. The Four Seasons’ attention to the small details truly shines—they didn’t disappoint. From recognizing it was my wife’s birthday with a thoughtful treat to a staff member the next day asking if she had enjoyed her special day, the gestures were wonderfully classy. The rooms are spacious, and the location is perfect. The hardest part of our stay was leaving this serene enclave for the hustle and bustle of Paris.
