Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City

"Elegant breakfast with room for improvement"
I had breakfast at the Four Seasons in Mexico City with my family and found the overall atmosphere truly delightful. The setting is refined, impeccably maintained, and beautifully surrounded by greenery, with the outdoor terrace providing a calm, inviting space that makes the morning feel especially relaxing. The savory selection was varied and enjoyable, offering a satisfying start to the day, though the sweet options did not quite meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Details such as packaged jam felt out of place, where homemade preserves, quality honey, or more refined choices would have better matched the Four Seasons standard. The croissants, too, lacked the softness and quality one would anticipate from such a prestigious brand. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, but one that could be elevated with greater attention to detail and that extra touch of excellence typically associated with the Four Seasons name.
"Elegance and lightness"
An iconic hotel located in one of Mexico City’s most prestigious neighborhoods, offering elegant architecture, excellent service, and very comfortable facilities. The breakfast restaurant, set around a central atrium filled with lush plants and trees, creates a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. The contemporary décor is thoughtfully accented with subtle Mexican touches, adding charm and character to the stay. Overall, the experience was highly enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Something to improve"
The service and staff were truly exceptional—attentive, professional, and consistently willing to help, which made the stay genuinely pleasant. The building itself has a great deal of character, and the courtyard stands out as a highlight, offering a peaceful and charming atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. That said, the rooms fell short of expectations and felt noticeably outdated, lacking the level of luxury typically associated with a Four Seasons property. The bathrooms were particularly disappointing in both design and functionality. The hallways also showed their age, with a tired, worn feel. While it’s clear that some updates have been made, the hotel would greatly benefit from a more comprehensive renovation to fully align with the brand’s usual high standards.
"You MUST stay here!"
We held our wedding at the Four Seasons in June 2025, and the experience was absolutely impeccable. This hotel truly represents luxury at its finest—from the warm welcome and seamless check-in to the entire stay and, of course, the wedding itself. It felt like a dream come true. Special thanks to Alejandra, who helped craft our wedding menu and ensured every detail was handled flawlessly. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Four Seasons team for making our special day perfect in every way!
"Central and confortable"
We stayed at the Four Seasons during our visit to Mexico and appreciated its central, convenient location. The inner courtyard is a lovely garden and a real highlight of the property, and we very much enjoyed both the bar and the restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the stay more pleasant overall. However, the rooms were somewhat disappointing, feeling a bit old-fashioned, and ours had a noticeable smell of smoke. To their credit, the hotel staff were very helpful and did their best to resolve the issue promptly, responding professionally to all our requests.
"Top hotel in Mexico City"
I found the hotel to be exceptional, particularly the beautifully landscaped central courtyard, which creates a calm and inviting atmosphere. The service was truly outstanding—the Mexican staff went above and beyond to ensure my experience was excellent. During my business trip, the hotel’s grounds were perfect for meetings and networking, providing a professional yet welcoming environment. I also requested a special arrangement from the concierge for Valentine’s Day, and they executed it flawlessly with punctuality and careful attention to detail. The hotel was highly recommended to me for business stays in Mexico City, and I can wholeheartedly agree. Beyond work, the hotel’s culture, restaurants, and overall atmosphere make it an equally wonderful choice for personal stays.
"Big 5-OH in the City of Mexico"
This is a wonderful hotel, made truly special by the warmth, friendliness, and outstanding service shown by every single member of the team. We have stayed at many Four Seasons properties around the world, and the Mexico City staff ranks among the very best. From every role and at every level of experience, the professionalism and genuine care were simply spectacular. While the hotel itself is older and would certainly benefit from a facelift, it still delivers all the essentials one expects from a Four Seasons stay: incredibly comfortable beds and bedding, quiet rooms with efficient air conditioning, plush bathrobes and linens, and excellent water pressure. We were told that renovations and updates are planned for the near future, but even so, there’s no reason to wait. If you’re considering staying here, go for it—you won’t be disappointed.
"The place to stay in MEX"
The hotel’s central location makes it ideal for exploring Mexico City, while its layout around a spacious inner courtyard provides a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms and service reflect the impeccable standards expected from a Four Seasons property. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the Zanaya courtyard restaurant for a delightful Mexican lunch and at the Fifty Mils bar for drinks and snacks, both of which lived up to their excellent reputations. Dinner at the Italian restaurant Il Becco was exceptional and truly memorable. The concierge-organized transfers and excursions ran smoothly and without issue. The only drawback was on our last night, when Zanaya was closed for a private marketing event, causing elevated noise in the rooms overlooking the courtyard late into the night. Despite this minor inconvenience, we will certainly consider staying at the Four Seasons again on our next visit to Mexico City.
"Good choice to stay in Mexico City"
Our stay was simply wonderful—truly hard to put into words. The hotel offers excellent facilities, first-class service, and a prime location. Dining here is a delight, with restaurants that easily earn a 10/10. The view of the lush gardens creates a serene atmosphere, making you feel completely removed from the bustle of the city. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a total sense of disconnection while still being right in the heart of Mexico City.
"Just great."
I absolutely love this hotel. While it is large and busy, that hardly matters because the service is consistently excellent—every staff member is kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The amenities are top-notch, and the central courtyard is stunning, offering a peaceful and inviting space to relax. Whether I’m visiting Mexico City for business or vacation, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else—the team always takes care of me and ensures a seamless, enjoyable experience.
