"Peaceful solo trip"
I had a really enjoyable stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even going as far as making pasta some evenings for guests. The kitchen was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, making it easy to prepare meals. I was pleasantly surprised to have a double bed “nest,” and the high-quality mattress made my stay far more comfortable than a typical dorm bed. The location is excellent, with a metro stop just a five-minute walk away, making the main attractions easily accessible by foot, bus, or metro. Towels are available for hire at €3, and same-day laundry service is a convenient option. Each guest gets a good-sized locker, giving peace of mind that belongings are secure. Bathrooms have bidets and are cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. The hostel also has a nice social atmosphere, with a spacious common area and terrace to meet fellow travelers. Guests were considerate, and the quiet street outside ensured a good night’s sleep. Big windows (with bars) that open fully were another nice touch. On the downside, the bathroom could use some updating; ours smelled damp and had a leaking cistern. Only one pillow was provided, and it was quite flat, so I recommend bringing a travel pillow if you prefer more cushioning. My bed didn’t have a USB charger or nightstand, and it didn’t lock, only having a roll-down blind, which required me to move my belongings back and forth each day—but my dorm mates were lovely, so it wasn’t a problem. The hand dryers were outdated and slow, which is common in Italy. Lastly, while the Termini/Esquilino area is convenient, it can feel a little sketchy and petty theft is a risk in areas with lots of tourists, so less experienced or nervous solo travelers should be mindful. Overall, the value, social environment, and convenience make this hostel a solid choice for Rome.
"Disgusto"
The place is quiet, clean, and generally well-managed by Lucas and Luangela. However, my experience was negatively impacted when I extended my stay for a day, hoping to rest and enjoy a nap. I specifically chose this accommodation because it offered air conditioning, but I was denied its use, forcing me to open the window to cope with the heat. This ruined my last hours in Rome and made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Given this experience, I will not return and cannot recommend this place.
"Comfort & Privacy :)"
I had a very agreeable 6-night stay in a 4-bed dorm at this hostel. Each bed was a “capsule” with sliding doors, providing excellent privacy, and could be locked from the outside—essentially doubling as a personal locker in addition to the drawer below the bed. The room also featured a nice-length table and a good-sized ensuite bathroom, making it comfortable for a longer stay. A lovely hang-out area is available on the ground-level outdoor terrace, complete with plenty of tables and chairs, though diners should be aware of occasional large flies. The hostel is situated in a leafy, tree-lined neighborhood with plenty of convenient establishments nearby, including cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, and even a barber shop where I got a haircut. I particularly enjoyed a small Chinese restaurant just a short 5–10 minute walk away, which was a bit tricky to find but served excellent food. For train travel, Roma Termini station is about a 15-minute walk, with several dining options in and around the station, including two McDonald’s and a nice Indian restaurant across the street. Overall, the combination of comfortable, private sleeping arrangements and a well-connected, convenient location made my stay very enjoyable.
"I’d come back."
The hostel is in a fantastic location, with good supermarkets nearby and a subway station that takes you close to all the main tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, offering free dinners several times a week at a community table, which is a great way to meet and chat with other guests. I stayed in a women-only 4-person room and loved it—the bed was super comfortable, the door provided full privacy, and the storage space was huge. The bathroom was excellent, and everything was always clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this hostel and would definitely return.
"Fantastic staff, great vibes, ok facilities"
My initial bed assignment was far too small for me—I’m only 1.76m tall and couldn’t fit comfortably. Fortunately, the staff, Victor and Fer, were incredibly helpful and rearranged my stay so I could sleep properly. The hostel has a fantastic vibe, and the common area really encourages socializing with other guests. The €5 dinner, however, was underwhelming for me; the portion size was quite small, and I often ended up eating elsewhere. Overall, the helpful staff and lively atmosphere made my stay enjoyable despite this minor drawback.
"Best hostel in Roma!"
I really loved the concept of privacy sliding doors—it keeps the room cool and the layout is very well thought out. Having stayed in many hostels, I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve experienced. It’s easy to meet fellow travelers, and the shared bathroom has its own door, which makes using it convenient and private. The staff are very helpful with recommendations and even join in during their free time, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Sometimes the Wi-Fi didn’t connect, probably because I was on the highest floor, but it didn’t affect my stay.
"Great place"
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and safe, and the hostel had a good overall atmosphere. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s close to public transportation and just a short walk to Termini station. The staff were helpful, and the outdoor area was a nice bonus. I would recommend this place for solo travelers.
"VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE"
The entire place was impeccably clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The receptionists were attentive and helpful, making the stay even better. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, and the location is convenient for public transport. One night, we were
"Good hostel and nice experience"
I had a really nice stay at this hostel! The individual beds are great for privacy, especially for girls in mixed rooms, allowing you to leave your lights on without disturbing others and lock away your belongings securely. I stayed for a week and changed rooms once. Initially, I was in a bottom bed with a curtain—it was spacious, almost like a double bed, but had no USB plug, no wall support for a phone, and the curtain was somewhat transparent when the light was on. After a few nights of poor sleep, the staff helped me move to a “nest” with a door, which gave me much more privacy and allowed me to rest better. The air conditioning is stronger in the door beds, so if you get hot at night, the curtain bed might be preferable. Both rooms had clean, spacious bathrooms, though the showers were small. Water temperature and flow were easy to control, and bathrooms were cleaned daily. The terrace is cozy and perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The hostel also hosts nightly dinners and has a good bar with great food. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. The location is convenient, close to the train station, with a nearby metro and supermarket, and the Colosseum is just a 20-minute walk away. Small maintenance issues included a noisy flush and a poorly draining shower in the first room, and a slightly noisy bathroom fan in the second room, but the air conditioning worked well in the second room. Overall, a very enjoyable and well-located stay with excellent facilities and a social yet comfortable environment.
"A perfect blend of comfort, community, and accessibility to your Roman adventure"
The staff were exceptional, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I really appreciated the communal vibe among guests, which made the hostel feel like more than just a place to stay. Evening activities organized by the hostel encouraged socializing and connections. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm, which featured a bed with a sliding door for extra privacy, a comfortable mattress, and a spacious, lockable storage drawer. The ensuite bathroom was also roomy and convenient. The location is ideal for avid walkers. I could easily stroll to San Giovanni to see the Scala Santa and Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, as well as to Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, and even the Colosseum. With Manzoni, Vittorio Emanuele, and Termini metro stations nearby, getting around the city was effortless.
