"Stylish Rome boutique hotel"

The hotel boasts beautiful interior design, striking the perfect balance between classic architecture and a modern twist. It is very affordable, making it an attractive option for travelers. While it may not offer extensive amenities, it is ideal for anyone seeking a romantic and stylish stay in the city—truly a choice you can’t go wrong with.

"Swanky hotel bar"

While in Rome, we were looking for a spot for a pre-dinner cocktail and stumbled upon this bar. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Although sitting at the bar for a casual drink isn’t really the style here, the cocktails themselves are excellent, including a very good martini. Drinks are on the pricier side at €15 each, but the quality makes it worthwhile.

"Touch of fancy"

This is such a beautiful little bar! We stumbled across it while exploring the streets of Rome and enjoyed a sneaky glass of wine. The decor is gorgeous, and the comfy seating made it perfect for relaxing and people-watching in Piazza di Pasquino. Our wine even came with complimentary snacks like olives and crisps. Definitely worth stopping by!

"A Rare Gem in the Heart of Rome – G-Rough is the Ultimate Boutique Escape"

As a luxury travel advisor with over 20 years of experience, I can confidently say G-Rough is a truly distinctive property. Located just steps from Piazza Navona and within walking distance of Rome’s most iconic sights, this refined boutique hotel perfectly blends authentic Roman charm with modern, artistic sophistication. From the moment you enter, G-Rough feels more like a curated experience than a conventional hotel stay. The décor is bold yet intimate, featuring mid-century design elements and original architectural details that give the space character and style. Each suite is thoughtfully unique, offering a strong sense of place—ideal for travelers seeking something beyond the ordinary. The service is warm, attentive, and refreshingly personalized. From pre-arrival communication to in-stay touches, every detail is handled with care, transforming a stay from simply pleasant to truly memorable. I chose G-Rough for a pre-cruise stay and found it perfect for that purpose. Its location allows easy exploration of Rome, while the quiet luxury of the hotel provides a relaxing retreat before heading to the port. This property exemplifies what travel advisors can unlock for clients—boutique, high-touch experiences often overlooked by online booking platforms. Whether you are new to Rome or a seasoned visitor, G-Rough offers more than just a place to sleep—it delivers an unforgettable experience that becomes part of the journey.

"Stylish small bar"

We’ve visited this bar twice during our holiday in Rome. The small space is cleverly designed with many mirrors, making it feel larger, and it has a stylish, comfortable atmosphere—more like a club than a noisy bar. The drink selection is reasonable, though limited (for example, only three red wines by the glass), and service is quick. Prices are on the higher side, with an Aperol Spritz costing €15, but we’ve enjoyed our visits and will definitely return.

"Boutique Charm, Great Service, and Amazing Location"

We stayed at G-Rough for four nights and loved every moment! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Rome, just a short walk from major attractions, excellent restaurants, and shops. The rooms are uniquely designed in a boutique style, full of character and brimming with authentic Roman charm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a relaxed and stylish setting. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, with special thanks to Stefano, the manager, who welcomed us warmly and was attentive and professional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and stylish Roman experience with a personal touch. We would definitely return!

"Good location. Decent, if sparse, rooms"

This property aims to be trendy, but beyond the style, it is a decent 4-star hotel primarily due to its excellent location. Situated in a small plaza next to the popular Piazza Navona, it’s about a 12-minute walk to the Vittoriano (Wedding Cake) and another 10 minutes to the Colosseum. With only around 10 “suite” rooms, facilities beyond a small breakfast room and bar/reception are minimal. The best aspect is the location, putting major attractions within easy walking distance. The rooms are sparsely furnished with inexpensive “hip” decor, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked a tiny courtyard with empty balconies, pipes, and AC units—adequate but not great. Overall, the hotel offers excellent location and decent value, but expectations should be modest for an “all-suite” experience.

"Charming hotel in a great location."

A great little hotel in a perfect Rome location. The staff were wonderful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We had a large room overlooking the Piazza, and the rooms are full of character in the best way. The hotel is right next to Piazza Navona and close to all the main attractions, situated in the lively Piazza de Pasquali with several good restaurants and plenty of activity. The lobby bar is a lovely spot to relax before heading out or after returning from sightseeing. The small, understated sign adds to the hotel’s charm. We would absolutely stay here again.

"Trendy Hotel close to Piazza Navona"

A very trendy hotel in a fantastic location near Piazza Navona. The rooms are large, with a separate sitting area, comfortable beds, and stylish decor. The bar is great, offering good cocktails and lively music. The staff, especially Stefano, provided excellent recommendations. The only drawback is the small and somewhat uncomfortable breakfast room.

"Only the bar…."

We stopped in for drinks because the place looked appealing. The seating was comfortable, and the crowd was pleasant. We hadn’t realized there’s a hotel attached. Service was a bit unusual—the only server/bartender seemed overwhelmed—but once we managed to get our drinks, we settled in comfortably and enjoyed the atmosphere.
