"Fuerteventura"
I booked two rooms at the H10 Ocean Suites for my family. On arrival, our room had a damp smell. We were offered a move in two days, but by then it was inconvenient to check out and switch rooms, which would have wasted part of our day. The rooms also had cracks on the ceiling and walls, and overall looked quite tired. We were on a half-board plan; breakfast was okay. The swimming pool was a bit green around the edges, and there were many broken tiles in and around the exterior areas. For a 4-star hotel, I felt the standard did not match the price — £4,118 for two rooms over 10 days seemed high. That said, the staff were very helpful and friendly, which was a positive aspect of our stay.
"Beautiful hotel in a great location"
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing, with everything fresh and a wide variety to choose from. Our Junior Suite was very clean and offered a lovely view of the pool area. We would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
"Lovely stay but could be better"
We enjoyed a 2-week all-inclusive stay at H10 Suites, and much of our experience was positive. The food was generally lovely with lots of variety, although for picky children like ours—who mainly eat nuggets—the buffet options were limited. Each night featured a themed menu, which became repetitive by our second week, leading us to eat out a few times. The pool snack bar was pleasant, but service could be unorganised at times, and food orders were occasionally incorrect. On the plus side, all drinks were premium, which we appreciated. The animation team was fantastic—energetic, happy, and highly engaging with guests, making the holiday even more enjoyable. One safety concern we noticed was with the kids’ club: children could leave freely without a sign-in/sign-out system, which may not feel secure to all parents. Sunbeds were in high demand, with most reserved by 9 a.m., so early risers had the best chance of securing one. Our room, with a double bed and fold-out couch, felt a bit cramped, though we spent little time there. Ants were an issue in the room; the initial spray helped only temporarily, and cleaning was lacking—particularly inside the fold-out couch, which was dusty. Overall, we had a lovely holiday, but some improvements—especially in room cleanliness, pool service, and children’s safety—would make this hotel truly exceptional.
"10 Day stay in August"
We had been really looking forward to our stay at this hotel, and while there were some positives, overall it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The location is excellent—just two minutes from the main stretch and an easy walk through shops and restaurants to the music square. Drinks were good, with no cheap alternatives, and the rooms were cleaned daily with decent air conditioning. I personally found the food acceptable, though the kids’ options were very limited unless you were happy with fries. However, there were several downsides. Staff were severely lacking—one person often handled five roles at once. The bar service was extremely slow, even with only a small queue of guests. The rooms were nice but had ants and cockroaches, which was unpleasant. The pool area was outdated, with visible mold around the edges, a deteriorating bottom, and cracked tiles. One major issue was the “towel enforcement” system at the pool. We had to arrive at 7 a.m. to secure beds, and even after waiting until 9:30 a.m., our towels were removed while we went for breakfast. This was particularly frustrating for a family member with a three-month-old baby who needed help in the room. While we might return in the future, the hotel definitely needs updating, improved maintenance, and more staff to make it a truly enjoyable experience.
"Our first experience with DE H10-Hotels chain"
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and had a very pleasant holiday. It enjoys a quiet yet central location in Corralejo, within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, though some minor restoration would be beneficial. Each room features a nice balcony or terrace, comfortable beds, and daily housekeeping that kept everything neatly in order. The resort is beautifully landscaped, with well-maintained gardens and two large swimming pools with ample sunbeds. The breakfast buffet was rich and varied, offering both hot and cold options. Dinner buffets were also enjoyable, featuring themed days and a good mix of local and international dishes, though occasionally the food could have been served slightly warmer. Drinks included in the all-inclusive package were satisfactory. We hired a car from Avia Cars to explore the island, which we highly recommend if you want to discover Fuerteventura in depth. With the rental car, we easily visited beaches, small villages, and the island’s impressive landscapes. For trips to the Corralejo sand dunes (accessible by bus) or the island of Los Lobos (via a taxi boat for €16), a car is not necessary. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, and we received good assistance at reception whenever needed. However, there were a few drawbacks. Smoking and vaping were widespread throughout the hotel, including the pool area and restaurant terraces, despite clearly designated smoking areas. Staff rarely intervened. The two pools cater to different guests: one with animation, slides, and music, and one intended for those seeking peace. At the quiet pool, house rules (no balls, air mattresses, or diving) were often ignored, and the lifeguards seemed more focused on their phones than supervising. Early sunbed reservations caused some frustration, as towels left on beds were removed or commented on. Lastly, Wi-Fi in the rooms was sometimes unstable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, thanks to the beautiful location, well-kept rooms, and friendly staff. With stricter enforcement of the rules, this hotel could easily reach an even higher standard. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxing holiday in Fuerteventura with good amenities.
"Underwhelming.."
We arrived late in the evening with a young child, and while check-in was okay and the welcome drink was a nice touch, the process felt slow as staff stopped to answer phones rather than assisting us promptly. Having sandwiches and salad left in the mini-bar was a thoughtful gesture. The rooms are spacious, but cleaning was initially poor and only improved after we complained. Ants and cockroaches were present, likely due to missed cleaning tasks such as not removing glasses daily, so we had to take matters into our own hands. The shower cubicle door didn’t close properly, leaving a large puddle on the bathroom floor, creating a slip hazard. Sunbeds were limited, and while the hotel aims to provide beds for 25% occupancy, securing one was inconsistent and often felt like a lottery. The pools were relatively clean but quite deep, so young swimmers need to be capable. Drinks included premium spirits and Estrella on tap, but service at bars was slow due to understaffing. The all-inclusive offer isn’t self-service, which was appealing, but a single bartender on each bar struggled to keep queues manageable. Bars were not always open consistently, though lunch and dinner service was very good. Food was typical of an all-inclusive hotel, and there were no specific options for picky children. Coffee and pastries were unavailable outside of breakfast until 10:30 a.m., limiting convenience. There were also no water fountains; bar staff would only refill reusable bottles, which worked for us but may be inconvenient for some guests. Overall, the hotel feels a bit tired compared to online images. Improvements could include better daily mini-bar replenishment for all-inclusive guests and additional staffing at the bars. For beach access, we recommend a taxi to RIU Palace, which offers beds, umbrellas, a beach bar, and toilets for €9. While we enjoyed some aspects of our stay, staff consistency, maintenance, and food options need attention to make this hotel more enjoyable.
"Great service, facility top"
Small defects in our children’s apartment were quickly resolved, and the plant-top areas were well maintained. Breakfast and overall food quality were excellent, with a varied buffet that was always promptly refilled. The staff in the restaurant, room service, and reception were very friendly and attentive. The only downside was the bar, where the service felt unfriendly. For example, when we ordered two mojitos, one was made without brown sugar, and the staff insisted this was wrong rather than accommodating our preference. After that, we chose not to return to the hotel bar, though there are plenty of excellent bars in town. We did not take part in the hotel’s animation program, but umbrellas can be rented at reception, and car rental pricing was reasonable. Overall, a pleasant stay with attentive staff and great food.
"Satisfactory"
I stayed here with my two sons on a breakfast-only board. Overall, there were no major issues, though the room cleaning was rather lacklustre. The biggest drawback, for me, was the sunloungers. I can only describe them as a form of medieval torture. People pay a lot of money to relax by the pool on holiday, but these sunbeds made that impossible. It honestly would have been better for my back to sit on an ironing board. By day two, we’d had enough—including my 13-year-old, who made the same observation—and we headed to the local beach. There, we met another family from Ocean Suites who had exactly the same complaint. It’s really disappointing for anyone who has only one holiday a year to try and endure a week of discomfort.
"Recurring Issues Overshadow Potential!"
Despite numerous previous reviews highlighting ongoing concerns, our recent stay at H10 Suites in Corralejo confirmed that many issues remain unaddressed, resulting in a mixed experience. The overall ambiance of the hotel was acceptable, though the strict rules often made the stay feel more restrictive than relaxing. On a positive note, the waiting and bar staff were consistently brilliant, friendly, and welcoming, providing excellent service. In contrast, the reception team—aside from two standout individuals—was largely unhelpful, defensive, and occasionally rude. Even simple requests, such as arranging a picnic lunch, were met with unnecessary refusals, forcing us to eat out daily due to the severe sunbed shortage. The sunbed situation was particularly frustrating. While guest behavior contributed, the hotel’s policy of only removing towels in the morning made it nearly impossible to secure a spot unless you were up very early, undermining any sense of a relaxing holiday. Food quality was merely “okay,” and for guests with dietary needs, such as celiac disease, it required repeated daily requests to ensure safe meal options. Our room (530) had an ant problem, likely due to a gap under the main door. We chose not to report it, expecting little resolution. Small details, like flimsy plastic spoons that melted in hot drinks and were only replaced after repeated requests, added to the frustration. The restrictive water policy—only one complimentary bottle at arrival—required repeated requests at the bar, highlighting the need for water stations as a practical and eco-friendly improvement. While communal areas were mostly clean, the ground floor toilets were often neglected, and bedroom cleaning was minimal. Overall, despite some enjoyable aspects of the trip, the recurring issues and the hotel’s apparent reluctance to address them mean we would not choose to return to H10 Suites Corralejo.
"Exceptional hotel for families!"
We’ve just returned from a fantastic holiday at H10 Ocean Suites. The hotel itself is exceptional—immaculate grounds, beautiful and spotless rooms, and a buffet restaurant that offers fresh, delicious food with a variety of options every night. Some evenings, you’re truly spoiled for choice! What made our holiday truly memorable, however, was the incredible staff. Having stayed at many H10 hotels, we can confidently say the friendliness and dedication here are unmatched. The activity team—Sarah, Suzi, Ziad, and Mattiu—were outstanding, keeping everyone entertained and making the kids’ experience unforgettable. Their enthusiasm and care truly deserve recognition. We also want to mention a kind barmaid/waitress, possibly Gisele, whose thoughtfulness went above and beyond when helping our little boy after a slip. H10 Ocean Suites has an amazing team, and thanks to them, our holiday was truly memorable.
"Fantastic family holiday"
We just returned from a wonderful family holiday at H10 Ocean Suites. On arrival, we were welcomed with a glass of cava, which was a lovely touch, and check-in was quick and efficient. Although only one of our three rooms was ready, we all received our wristbands and were able to go straight for lunch. Meal times offered plenty of choice, and we never had to wait long for a table for five outside each evening. Even though we visited during UK term time and the hotel was busy, there was ample space around the quiet pool, especially if you arrived by 8–8:30 a.m. Towels could not be left for more than 30 minutes, and while this was enforced occasionally, it was generally not strictly monitored. We particularly enjoyed the mojito masterclass and aqua aerobics, and the animation team made every activity fun and engaging. The terrace bar has limited outdoor seating (around 20 people), but drinks can be taken downstairs to the area beneath the terrace, although this is a designated smoking zone. The only drawbacks were the air conditioning in the rooms, which didn’t cool effectively despite being set low, and the pillows, which were flat and could do with replacing. Space at the Italian restaurant is limited, and reception was unable to secure a booking for us, so we cannot comment on the food there. We’re returning in September and plan to bring some fans to help with room temperatures. Overall, all the staff work incredibly hard—mixing cocktails, clearing tables, and keeping the hotel spotless—making it a truly enjoyable holiday experience.
"More like 3 star hotel"
Overall, this is a lovely hotel with a great location. Breakfast offers plenty of choices, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. However, the pools could use a lot of attention. There was green algae around the pool rims, and the pool interiors clearly needed painting. It would have been nice to have waiter service by the pools, and securing a sunbed was nearly impossible—some guests were reserving their spots as early as 7 a.m.!
