"Popular but Underwhelming Experience"
This place is definitely popular, but in my opinion, it doesn't live up to the hype. The staff member who attended us wasn’t very friendly and didn’t explain that we needed to order at the counter, so we sat waiting for quite a while. We eventually ordered the specialty coffees listed at the top of the menu—they were decent, though a bit overpriced. The seating was uncomfortable, and the lack of air conditioning made it hard to relax. Overall, not a memorable experience.
"Delicious Food and Generous Portions – A Must-Try!"
The food here was absolutely insane—in the best way! Portions were large and satisfying. I had the turkey egg sandwich, and we also tried the salmon avocado salad—both were fantastic. The waffles were also super yummy. Can’t recommend this place enough. The pictures truly say it all!

The sandwiches were mostly great, though the mushroom and cheese one was a bit underwhelming. The salad stood out with a fresh and creative touch. However, the ordering process was confusing. It wasn’t clear where to queue or place an order, and the staff didn’t offer much guidance, which led us to wait in line twice. Despite that, it’s a solid breakfast spot, and at €45 for three people, it’s definitely affordable for what you get.

If you're short on time: expect standard food, hard-to-drink coffee, and overpriced dishes served in a bare-bones, prison-cafeteria-style setting. The coffee (a bitter Americano) arrived 10 minutes before the food, making it lukewarm by the time the meal came—clearly a service misstep. The toasts (avocado & scrambled eggs, and portobello & poached eggs) looked nice but tasted average. With a local sit-down restaurant offering a full menu for €15.50, paying nearly the same here for just a toast and coffee feels unjustified. Not recommended unless you value aesthetics over value—or don't mind paying more for less.

It's a delightful spot for anyone who appreciates quality in both flavor and atmosphere. That said, there are a few operational challenges that could be addressed to improve the overall experience. Firstly, some customers bypass the maître d’ and seat themselves, which feels unfair to those waiting in line. Secondly, once you finally get a table, there’s another wait to order at the bar—this could be streamlined by allowing orders via QR code or offering menus in advance during the wait. Lastly, the kitchen seems overwhelmed during peak hours; waiting over 30 minutes for a simple open sandwich isn’t ideal. A slimmer, more focused menu might help the team handle busy times more efficiently. With just a few adjustments, this café could go from great to outstanding.
