"Lovely Hotel"
We stayed three nights in Paris and once again chose this hotel for our visit. Having stayed here before, we already knew we were in for a lovely experience — and it did not disappoint. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Paris, within easy walking distance of many of the city’s top sights. The service was outstanding, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the bar and restaurant consistently excellent. This hotel continues to be our go-to choice for every future trip to Paris — reliable, elegant, and always welcoming.
"I love, love, love this hotel"
We absolutely love this hotel! Our stay this year was even better than last year’s — our Deluxe Room had a larger bathroom, and it was lovely to see familiar faces among the staff. The hotel is elegant, the amenities are excellent, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. A special thank you to Yann and Raphael at the concierge desk and to Ludovic, our favorite porter, for their warmth and professionalism. From helping us practice our French to assisting with museum bookings and restaurant recommendations, they made our stay truly special once again. We will definitely return — this hotel continues to impress year after year!
"Average"
We stayed in a Superior Room on the 4th floor, which had a spacious shower, but the carpet clearly needed a deep clean, and one of the bedside lights wasn’t working throughout our stay. While the staff were adequate, they didn’t go out of their way to provide extra support or service. Overall, it was an average experience, and unfortunately, we wouldn’t return.
"Amazing Location — Wonderful Staff — Concierge Expertise"
As a Lifetime Diamond member with extensive travel experience, I wanted to share a detailed review of our recent stay — my wife’s first visit to Paris and my return. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival, and overall, this hotel delivered an excellent experience with a few practical points worth noting for future guests. Summary: The location is unbeatable — central, with metro stops right at the doorstep and walking distance to key attractions. The staff and concierge are outstanding, providing thoughtful recommendations that truly enhanced our stay. Rooms are elegant but compact; upgrading to a Junior Suite is worthwhile if you prefer more space. WiFi is fast, and multiple USB ports are available. Check-in & Room: Our room wasn’t ready until after 4 PM, so plan your arrival accordingly. Once inside, the Junior Suite was comfortable, with a good layout and excellent water pressure in the shower. Note: bathrooms have makeup mirrors but limited counter space and no plug for a hairdryer — use outlets by the bed or desk. Concierge & Staff: The concierge team is exceptional — responsive before arrival and throughout the stay. Every recommendation they made for dining, sightseeing, and local spots was spot-on. Their local knowledge added tremendous value, and the entire staff was professional, polite, and fluent in English while appreciating attempts to speak French. Dining & Executive Lounge: The Executive Lounge is the weakest point — small, crowded, and best avoided during Happy Hour. Instead, follow concierge recommendations for nearby cafés or bars to enjoy Parisian charm in a more relaxed setting. Breakfast at the main restaurant was superb with wide variety, fresh items, and excellent service — best to go early (around 7 AM). Location Tips: Everything is within walking distance, including local restaurants and attractions. A fantastic bakery just a few minutes away is perfect for pastries and coffee. Try the Gourmet Food Court nearby for affordable and delicious meals. Avoid front-facing rooms if sensitive to street noise; side-facing rooms are quieter. Verdict: Despite the small lounge and minor quirks, this hotel shines thanks to its impeccable staff, superb location, and welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely return. For those planning a stay — book a larger room, connect with the concierge before arrival, and explore local eateries for the best experience.
"Central Location"
If you’re looking for a quaint boutique hotel surrounded by charming sidewalk cafés, this isn’t the right fit. However, it’s excellent for proximity to the Opera House, Galeries Lafayette, and metro access. We stayed eight nights but didn’t spend much time at the hotel. The staff were professional, with standout service from the breakfast, lounge, and concierge teams. As Diamond members, we were recognized, though no upgrades were available during busy July. The hotel was crowded with families and American tourists, which could be either a plus or minus depending on your expectations. If your Paris comes from Emily in Paris, this might not be your scene — but for comfort, convenience, and solid service, it’s a reliable choice.
"Historic hotel for an unforgettable weekend in Paris."
Our 3-night stay at the Hilton Paris Opera, booked through the American Express Fine Hotels program, was absolutely wonderful and a perfect addition to our Paris adventure. The hotel’s historic grandeur and timeless charm made for an unforgettable experience. We arrived around noon and, as expected, had to wait a couple of hours for our room to be ready — the staff handled this gracefully and were helpful throughout our stay. Once settled, we found the hotel to be both luxurious and comfortable, beautifully blending classic Parisian elegance with modern convenience. Le Grand Salon is a must-visit — the atmosphere is spectacular and the perfect spot to enjoy a martini before heading out for the evening. Shopping lovers will also appreciate the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, conveniently located just across the street, where we indulged in some retail therapy. Every member of the team was attentive and professional, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. Overall, the Hilton Paris Opera exceeded expectations — a memorable stay in a grand and stylish hotel that we can’t wait to return to!
"Paris Opera Hilton"
Location, location, location! That’s the best way to describe why we chose the Hilton Paris Opera for our two-night stay. The hotel sits right outside Saint-Lazare train station, surrounded by restaurants and shops, making it incredibly convenient. We arrived in Paris via Eurostar at Gare du Nord, and getting here was a breeze using the RER E line. The room and hotel décor mix elegant, high-end touches with areas that could use a bit of maintenance. Including breakfast in our room rate was a smart choice, as we weren’t familiar with nearby cafés. The buffet was satisfying and convenient, and the in-room safe was a welcome feature. Best of all, the St-Lazare Metro hub connects to multiple lines (3, 12, 13, 14), giving easy access to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and other Paris landmarks. Overall, a solid stay with unbeatable convenience, ideal for travelers focused on exploring the city.
"7th returning of Parisian Hotel"
A heartfelt thank you to Margot for her exceptional and attentive service — her warmth and professionalism truly made my stay special once again. This is exactly why I keep returning to celebrate my birthday stays here, along with my family members. The improvements in both the rooms and overall service are noticeable and much appreciated. It’s wonderful to see the hotel continuously enhancing the guest experience. A special mention to Alice for her warm welcome upon my return, and to Loha, the front desk manager, who truly embodies the spirit of Hilton with her ever-present smile and gracious handling of every request. If I may suggest, the Executive Lounge could be elevated further by offering sparkling wine or champagne service — it would certainly add a touch of luxury and attract even more loyal Diamond members. Overall, another memorable and heartwarming stay. Thank you to the entire team for making Hilton Paris Opera feel like home every time I visit.
"Quality of sleep was good coz this hotel has good quality mattress and pillows."
Great location — the Metro is within walking distance, and you can easily reach many of Paris’ top attractions on foot. Plenty of restaurants nearby make dining convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable with a lovely rain shower in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the breakfast selection was both good and tasty. I especially enjoyed the lobby bar — it has a charming old-world atmosphere that adds to the overall experience.
"no stair rails"
The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was lovely. However, there were no handrails on the stairs at the hotel entrance or in the lobby, which could be challenging for some guests. Also, there was no plug in the bathroom for the hair dryer. Other than these minor inconveniences, it was a pleasant stay. While the hotel isn’t close to the major attractions, the nearby Galeries Lafayette was a real highlight — definitely worth a visit.
