"Very lovely hotel in a good central location."
This hotel is a very lovely place to stay, ideally located near most of Rome’s main attractions. The interiors are beautifully designed, with plenty of marble, chrome, and chic furnishings, giving the hotel a stylish, modern feel. The rooms are on the smaller side but attractive and comfortable, with particularly lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was superb, offering a huge selection of foods in a beautifully presented dining area. The staff in the breakfast and cleaning areas were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, though this warmth didn’t always extend to the busy reception team. The waiting area for check-in or check-out could benefit from better air conditioning and access to cold water in addition to coffee. One minor surprise was the POS machine prompting a gratuity at checkout, which felt a bit awkward given we had already tipped staff throughout our stay. Overall, this is a very impressive hotel, and I would definitely return on a future visit to Rome.

While on tour in Rome, we stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were kind and welcoming, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was hearty and satisfying.
"An Amazing Stay to Celebrate My Birthday"
I just checked out after a week at this hotel (November 24 to December 1, 2025), and it easily ranks as one of the best I’ve stayed at. The hotel is very clean, pleasant, and the staff are absolutely amazing—special thanks to Sebastian, Valentina, Adi, Marco, and many others. On my first day, I had an accident during a tour and needed a scooter for the week; the team made sure it was charged every night for my next day’s adventures. The staff provided excellent recommendations and were always incredibly helpful. The hotel restaurant serves great food, and the location is ideal—just five minutes from Roma Termini station and six blocks from the Colosseum. Shopping nearby was fantastic as well. I fully recommend this hotel, and next time I return with my husband, we’ll stay here again. Their sister hotel in Florence, Hotel Spadai near the Duomo, is also a must-visit!
"Clean rooms and great location"
Our stay at Hotel Artemide was very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The free mini-bar and fast Wi-Fi were very convenient. The location is excellent, within walking distance of both the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While the spa prices seemed a bit high, overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

Located in the heart of Rome, Hotel Artemide exceeded all our expectations. The staff were amazing, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. "A very good experience"
Hotel Artemide is excellent, and this was my second time staying here. Although not a large hotel, it’s very well located within walking distance of Termini Station. The rooms are small but clean, well-organized, and comfortable, with very good bathrooms. Breakfast is outstanding, and the rooftop bar offers a lovely view. A standout feature of the rooms is the electric kettle for tea and the minibar, which includes beer, soft drinks, juice, water, and snacks—all free and restocked daily. This thoughtful touch makes a big difference and is something I truly appreciate. The only minor downside is that the pillows are quite firm, but it doesn’t affect my overall impression. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel!
"Hotel Artemide, Rome Italy"
We stayed at Hotel Artemide in Rome to celebrate our 50th anniversary, and the experience was absolutely amazing. The service was exceptional—they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a card, and even allowed us early check-in after our long journey from the US. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated, with a small balcony that was a wonderful surprise. The free minibar, replenished daily, was a huge convenience. The hotel’s central location makes it very walkable to most attractions, though we opted for a cab to the Vatican tour for convenience. The staff also arranged an incredible tour to Pompeii and Sorrento, which was phenomenal. Breakfast was fantastic, and the team serving it deserves recognition for their kindness and dedication. We also highly recommend using the hop-on hop-off bus to explore the city comfortably—it’s a great way to see more without getting too tired. Overall, Hotel Artemide is the perfect place to stay while visiting Rome, and we highly recommend it!
"Almost Faultless Hotel (except for one easy fix please!)"
This is a lovely hotel, nearly faultless, with a superb location within easy walking distance of all the major sights. Complimentary water and wine in the room, along with friendly, multilingual staff, make the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast is a real treat, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. However, as a woman staying alone, I was concerned by the lack of an internal door lock, chain, or peephole, which made me uneasy. The reception mentioned a blue light outside the door indicating occupancy, but it does not provide real security. On day five, a universal staff key card was accidentally left in my room by housekeeping, which could have allowed access to any room. I returned it immediately, but it highlighted the security risk. To feel safe at night, I had to buy a door wedge. Artemide Hotel: please consider installing proper door locks or bolts to ensure guest safety, especially for solo travelers.
"Great choice in Rome"
The hotel is very well located, with an agile and attentive staff—some receptionists even speak Portuguese. Our room was clean, comfortable, and warm, with a well-heated bath and a great, hot shower. Breakfast was varied, tasty, and served by very friendly attendants, making for a pleasant start to each day.
"Great staff, room not so great"
We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon and were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Our room, 115, featured a terrace and a comfortable bed, though it was rather dark, as the single window/door didn’t let in enough light. We also noticed some noise from the floors above through the ventilation when others were showering or using the toilet—not a huge issue, but worth noting. The free minibar was a nice touch, though cleaning, particularly in the bathroom, could have been better. Overall, a pleasant stay with just a few minor drawbacks.

A modern and stylish hotel located on Via Nazionale, close to the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Famous for its excellent breakfast and rooftop restaurant.
