"Good option with some great perks"
The hotel is clean and comfortable, and our junior suite offered plenty of space for my wife and me to relax during our week-long stay. The front desk staff were exceptional, helping us arrange transportation, recommend restaurants, and more. The complimentary mini bar in the room and free breakfast were both appreciated perks. Located on a busy commercial street a few blocks from the train station, the hotel is conveniently near the Repubblica subway station while avoiding some of the less pleasant areas around Termini. While the historic center and landmarks like the Trevi Fountain are walkable, they aren’t exactly close. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a stay in Rome.
"Absolutely brilliant stay in a perfect location with the cleanest rooms and delicious breakfast"
What an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, Ivan and his team provided a warm and gracious welcome, making us feel completely at home. The hotel is spotless, and our room was beautifully furnished. The cleaning staff deserve special mention—they were exceptional. Breakfast was superb, with an excellent selection of fresh fruit, coffee, and other choices. The location is extremely convenient for exploring Rome’s historical sites and for shopping. Overall, an outstanding experience that we would highly recommend.
"Clean rooms and great location"
Our stay at Hotel Artemide was very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We appreciated the complimentary mini-bar and fast Wi-Fi, which made the stay even more convenient. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only minor drawback was that the spa prices seemed a bit high, but overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
"Hotel Artemide, Rome Italy"
We stayed at Hotel Artemide in Rome to celebrate our 50th anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! The service was unbelievable—they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a card, and even allowed early check-in after our long journey from the US. Our room was lovely, not huge but beautifully appointed, with a small balcony we hadn’t expected. The free minibar, restocked daily, was a wonderful convenience. The hotel’s central location made it very walkable to most attractions, though we took a cab to the Vatican to save time (note: always check the meter and credit card machine!). The hotel also arranged a phenomenal tour to Pompeii and Sorrento, which we highly recommend. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff in the breakfast room were incredibly kind and dedicated—true stars! We also enjoyed using the hop-on hop-off bus to explore Rome comfortably, which is a big help even for avid walkers. Overall, Hotel Artemide is the perfect choice for a stay in Rome, and we couldn’t recommend it more!
"A very good experience"
Hotel Artemide is excellent, and this was my second stay here. While the hotel isn’t very large, it benefits from a fantastic location within walking distance of Termini Station. The rooms are small but clean, well-organized, and comfortable, with very good bathrooms. Breakfast is outstanding, and the rooftop bar offers a lovely view of the city. One feature I particularly appreciate is the electric kettle in the room, along with the minibar, which is fully stocked with beer, soft drinks, juice, water, and snacks — all free and replenished daily. The only minor drawback is that the pillows are quite firm, but this does not diminish my overall impression. I truly enjoy this hotel and would happily return.
"A gem in Rome’s crown"
This was our second stay at Hotel Artemide, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Our room was perfect—clean, quiet, well-designed, and complete with a free minibar stocked with mineral water, snacks, prosecco, and beer. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the people. The front desk staff are all exceptional, and Alessandro and his team in the breakfast room are simply incredible. Alessandro is a consummate professional, and it shows in how well his staff serve guests with kindness and efficiency. We can’t praise them enough and will definitely be returning!
"Almost Faultless Hotel (except for one easy fix please!)"
Hotel Artemide is a lovely hotel, nearly flawless. The location is superb, within easy walking distance to all the main sights, and the complimentary water and wine in the room were a nice touch. The staff are friendly, helpful, and multilingual, and breakfast is a real treat. Our stay was truly wonderful. My only criticism, which would be an easy fix, concerns room security. As a woman staying alone, I was uneasy that there was no internal door lock, chain, or even peephole. When I asked reception, I was told the blue light outside the door indicates when the room is occupied, preventing staff from entering. Unfortunately, this does not provide real security. On day five, a universal staff key card had accidentally been left in my room, which could have given access to any room at any time (I returned it to reception immediately). To feel safe at night, I had to use a door wedge. Artemide Hotel, I suggest adding proper door locks to ensure your guests feel secure.
"A Home not a Hotel"
Hotel Artemide feels more like a home than a hotel. The property itself is beautiful, but the true charm lies in its caring and attentive staff. From the moment you step through the door, you are welcomed warmly, as if entering a family home. The front desk staff greet you with genuine friendliness, and your room is always perfectly prepared and inviting. During our stay, my wife never once said “let’s go back to the hotel”—she said, “let’s go home,” which perfectly sums up our experience. Each morning, we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast, and by the second day, the staff already anticipated our preferences with enthusiasm and a smile. Our room attendant kept the space immaculate, with fresh sheets and thoughtful touches that made coming back a joy. The staff treat each guest as an individual, not just a visitor, and the care they show is remarkable. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience and look forward to returning “home” to Hotel Artemide whenever we visit Rome.
"Great staff, room not so great"
We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon and were warmly welcomed. The staff, in general, were amazing and very attentive throughout our stay. We had room 115, which featured a terrace. The room itself was comfortable, with a nice bed, but it was quite dark. With only a single window/door, natural light was limited. We also noticed that sounds from the floors above, such as showering or using the toilet, could be heard through the ventilation—not a major issue, but something to be aware of. The free minibar was a nice perk, though cleaning, especially in the bathroom, could have been improved. Overall, a lovely stay thanks to the staff and amenities.
"Location, accomodations, and staff hit all the marks"
The hotel was absolutely perfect, and the staff made the experience even better. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly elevated our stay, making it both comfortable and memorable.
