"I’ll never come back"
The bed itself was fine, but the blanket was inadequate—too small, old, and itchy. The in-room safe wasn’t working. Water was only provided as a courtesy on the first night, and when I tried to purchase more from the cafeteria, the staff said they weren’t sure if they could sell it, which was frustrating. The most serious issue occurred the night of November 2nd to 3rd around 11:30 PM, when the power went out in the room. Reception informed me it was a general outage and that room power was not a priority. I explained that I needed electricity to charge a CPAP machine, but they refused to provide an alternative, despite other areas of the hotel having light and power. This demonstrated an attitude of apparent sympathy but a lack of real concern for guest needs. Cleanliness was only average, and overall, the experience fell far below acceptable standards.
"Stone bed"
Everything about the stay was good, except for the bed, which was by far the worst I have ever slept in. We booked for two nights, and from the very first night, I felt discomfort all over. The mattress was extremely hard, and there was only one pillow, which was flat and soggy. The sheets and bed covers felt stiff and starchy, almost like sleeping on cardboard, and I was uncomfortably cold. Improving the bedding quality would greatly enhance the overall experience.
"Average Hotel With Good Service"
We stayed three nights here with our pilgrimage group. The room was spacious, but the beds were quite hard. Each bed came with only two pillows, and when we requested two more, we were only given one. The water pressure in the shower made a strange noise, likely when used simultaneously with other rooms. We had a small issue with the in-room safe, but it was promptly replaced by the staff. This hotel was also the only one among the four we stayed at that offered a refrigerator in the room, which was very convenient. Overall, our stay was good, with some minor issues that did not significantly affect our experience.
"Good location"
I stayed for three nights as part of a small group tour from the UK. The hotel’s location near Revolution Square was ideal for sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent, with a varied selection of hot and cold buffet options, and potable water fountains were available on two floors. The hotel was clean, with plenty of towels, USB and power sockets, and good lighting in the rooms. However, the large TV overshadowed the desk area, making it difficult to read or write. The windows did not open, and the centrally controlled A/C made the room uncomfortably chilly at night. There were no spare blankets, and the A/C unit’s heating function was too noisy to use. The rooftop pool was a nice touch, though only half of it was suitable for actual swimming. Overall, a convenient and well-equipped hotel, but with some comfort limitations in the rooms.
"Good hotel in a tourist location !!"
This hotel is well-located for tourists and offers good value for the price. The rooms are a bit small, and the air conditioning is not very strong, but they are adequate for a short stay. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk to the opera, cathedral, market square, and nearby shops, making it very central and convenient. It is also close to several 4- and 5-star hotels. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the service was satisfactory, making it a solid option for travelers looking for a central, affordable stay.
"Good. With pillows to improve"
My first stay in a simple room was disappointing—the bed was very hard and the pillows were tiny, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The following night, I switched to a double room, which was nicely remodeled and had a much more comfortable bed. Overall, I recommend paying more attention to pillow quality. A larger, softer, and more supportive pillow would make a significant difference for a good night’s sleep.
"Good choice for couple of active days."
My room was small but sufficient for a solo traveler. The pillows and blankets were lacking in comfort, and I didn’t use the air conditioning during my stay. On the positive side, the cleanliness of the room was excellent. Breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. The hotel’s location is great, within walking distance to many attractions, making it convenient for exploring the city.
"A city of three cultures"
This hotel has a fantastic location and a very welcoming staff who are attentive and quick to solve any problems. The property is clean and well-maintained, offering all the necessary services for a comfortable stay. It is especially family-friendly. In my case, I had an accident, and the staff went above and beyond to help me by preparing and cutting my food—truly excellent service. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for families and travelers seeking care and convenience.
