Hôtel du Louvre

"Great location and comfortable stay"
Wonderful location, with an upgrade upon arrival to a room with a view. The hotel is close to popular sites and the metro line. Rooms were comfortable and clean, though it didn’t feel as luxurious as some other five-star hotels we stayed at during the trip, which was a bit disappointing given the price, but not a deal breaker. Breakfast, included with our stay, was excellent, and the bar was a pleasant spot to unwind after a busy day before dinner. We would stay here again!
"Clean, Convenient for Walking, Tasty Breakfast"
We stayed in interconnected rooms, which worked out perfectly. The beds were very comfortable, and our room had a lovely view overlooking the Louvre, well insulated from street noise and impeccably clean. Breakfasts were delicious. The location is ideal for walking to the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Opera House, and the Latin Quarter. The only downside is the heavy traffic in the area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable!
"Everything worked well"
Everyone at the hotel was friendly, except for the concierge desk—Kamilla in particular was rude and unhelpful. The location is perfect, with the metro nearby and the Louvre just across the street. The hotel is very clean, and housekeeping is exceptional. The front desk staff were welcoming, and the lobby felt safe, with ushers opening doors and maintaining security. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the rooms were quiet, and two full-size elevators made moving around easy.
"Almost heaven — and it wasn’t West Virginia!"
Incredible service, a wonderful breakfast, beautiful rooms, and plenty of perks—this hotel offers a true five-star experience. Thanks to other reviews, we were aware of the “cabins” available to shower and change while waiting for our room after a transatlantic flight, which was instrumental in helping us manage jet lag. The lounge (bar) was stunning; besides cocktails one evening, my husband enjoyed a quiet spot for coffee. For breakfast, be sure to request the menu, as the kitchen prepares several cooked options—eggs Benedict, poached eggs, French toast—at no extra charge, alongside a bountiful buffet of pastries, meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, and roasted potatoes. By the time we returned from breakfast, our room was immaculate, with two bottles of water and fresh towels provided. In the evening, they added two more bottles of water, turned down the beds with chocolates, and even included a complimentary bottle of red wine.
"Paris Paris Paris"
The location is fantastic, right on the subway line. However, all three rooms we booked had a strong musk smell, and one was so bad that we had to change rooms. We paid extra for a city view, but it turned out to be just a street view with loud dance performances continuing until around midnight. Save your money and don’t opt for the city view.
"Will come here every time"
I was initially ambivalent and considered the Park Hyatt, but I’m so glad I chose to stay here. The rooms were spacious, lovely, and impeccably clean. What truly stands out is the hotel’s location—close to the metro and within walking distance to nearly everything in the city. The cocktail bar was fantastic, and I absolutely loved the sparkling water on tap in the lobby. Service was exceptional, with smiles from everyone we encountered. Edouard, the experience manager, went above and beyond to get us an early room on our first day, helping us recover from jet lag. We were also greeted with the most beautiful flower arrangement. I will be sure to stay here every time I visit Paris. 10/10!
"Classy Parisian stay"
A classy Parisian experience at L’Hôtel du Louvre, ideally located right next to the Louvre with a metro station just outside for convenience. The hotel occupies a beautiful French building, and our room was well-decorated, clean, and charming, though a bit small. Surrounded by high-end shops, the area is lively and busy during the day, but quiet at night—ask for a high floor for the best experience. The staff were helpful and polite, and the eclectic mix of guests made for an entertaining atmosphere.
"Worth the treat – Hotel du Louvre 1st ARR"
Treat yourself to the absolute best location in Paris, conveniently situated within easy walking distance of numerous landmarks in the 1st arrondissement.
"Location, location, location"
While I titled my review “Location” because it’s certainly a highlight, this hotel has so much more to offer. It’s a lovely place to stay—relaxed, low-key, and far from stuffy. My room on the top floor, facing the Louvre, was simply ethereal. I greatly appreciated both Hyatt and the reception staff for accommodating all my requests. The staff throughout the hotel were truly wonderful, and I will definitely return.
"Top"
The host was exceptional, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Although we stayed only two nights, we truly enjoyed our time at this hotel. Breakfast was complete and of high quality. Special mention to Jerome, who was particularly friendly! The location is excellent, with everything easily accessible. Our room was small but very comfortable, and the space was sufficient for our needs. While the hotel does not have on-site parking, covered parking is available just 300 meters away. We would stay here again without hesitation!
