Hotel France Eiffel

"Nice hotel"
This is a nice hotel with no visible dirt, though the carpet felt a bit unhygienic. From the street, you can see the Eiffel Tower, which is just a 10–15 minute walk away. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there are some great bars nearby worth trying.
"Very poor value for money. Even if it’s in Paris."
We paid €220 for one night at this hotel, but it was disappointing. The hotel is dirty and rundown, with no air conditioning. Everything is made of wood, raising fire safety concerns, and there were no visible emergency exits. The closet door was hanging loose, and the carpets in both the room and hallway were dirty and stained, some with bleach marks. On the positive side, the reception staff were very nice. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is about a 3/10.
"Clean convenient hotel"
This clean budget hotel is within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. We recommend visiting the bakery just up the street for breakfast. Ideal for a short stay in Paris, the room was a bit tight for my wife, granddaughter, and me, but it served its purpose perfectly.
"Good location but filthy room."
We booked this hotel through Lastminute.com, and while the website photos didn’t look too bad, our arrival was a huge disappointment. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was acceptable, but the rooms were absolutely appalling. There was mold inside the shower and above the toilet, the carpet was filthy, and the kettle had a broken handle, making it unsafe to use. Had we known the true condition of the room, we would never have booked this hotel.
"Don’t waste your money!"
We arrived on the night of 11th October for a 2-night stay in room 22. Pros: The staff were nice, the WiFi worked well, the location is excellent, and the bed was comfortable. Cons: Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The rooms are much smaller and in worse condition than advertised on Booking.com. Noise is unbearable—you can hear road traffic, neighbors talking, walking upstairs and downstairs, and even showers and toilets. The carpet is dirty and stained, and the sink had been poorly repaired. There are no English TV channels, only German, which was frustrating for winding down at night. The lift is old and cramped, barely fitting two adults with luggage. Breakfast costs €12 per person just for croissants, but it’s far better to visit the fresh bakery just two minutes away. Compared to my previous stay at Hotel Eiffel Capitol down the road, this hotel felt overpriced—€255 for two nights with no breakfast felt like a rip-off. If you don’t mind noise and a dated, damaged room, you may manage, but it definitely ruined our romantic weekend. Additionally, the area around the Eiffel Tower now has a fenced-off garden structure, which we found unappealing. Overall, this stay was disappointing despite the good location and friendly staff.
"Cheap and a bit nasty"
The hotel’s location is much further from the Eiffel Tower than advertised—closer to a 14-minute walk rather than the 5 minutes claimed on the website. The rooms are small and underwhelming, with broken bathroom fixtures and worn, unpleasant carpets that don’t match the online photos. The furnishings are very basic. On the plus side, the bed was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and kind, but there wasn’t much they could do to improve the situation. I had booked through Lastminute.com and requested a bath in addition to the shower, but the hotel didn’t provide one, as LM had not communicated the request. From one window, you can see only a tiny sliver of the Eiffel Tower.
"Friendly staff"
The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. It was the first day for the guy who booked our airport shuttle, but he was cheerful, and the shuttle arrived as promised. The beds were new, clean, and comfortable. The room and bathroom were tiny but clean, though the carpets felt a bit sticky. We skipped breakfast, but the hotel is conveniently close to a grocery store, cafés, and the metro. It’s within easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro fountains and gardens.
"I WISH THEY WERE ALL LIKE LUTFI IN PARIS!"
This hotel boasts an unbeatable location, just steps from the Eiffel Tower, close to two supermarkets, and only meters from the underground. It’s the only hotel I’ve stayed at where coffee, cookies, and croissants are available for guests throughout the day. The facilities are well maintained, but what truly sets this place apart is the staff—especially Lutfi, who attended to us with remarkable courtesy and professionalism.
"Staff try hard but limited hotel to work with"
This hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower, making it convenient for sightseeing. However, consider carefully before staying in the summer, as the rooms have no air conditioning. The bathrooms are extremely small, and the shower in my room was tiny—about 2 feet by 2 feet—making it difficult for an average-sized person to use comfortably. On the positive side, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean.
"Good stay"
We stayed for one night during the Olympics and were pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable, and we slept very well. While the pension is far from perfect, the welcome was clear and friendly, and breakfast was enjoyable. In August, there was no need for air conditioning or heating, which made the stay even more comfortable. With its ideal location, we left very happy with our experience.
