"Many traffic problems to get to nights closed areas little attention from the manager canceled and charged me from"
My stay was marred by several problems. At night, many areas were closed, and security felt minimal. The manager’s attention was lacking, and I was even overcharged for one night. Attempting to cancel was both difficult and felt unsafe. Overall, this stay fell short of expectations and raised serious concerns about management and guest safety.
"Good option to visit CDMX"
The hotel has an unbeatable, very central location, making it ideal for exploring CDMX. The rooms are basic and a bit small, but the mattresses are very comfortable. While some maintenance could be improved, the rooms were clean and perfectly adequate for sleeping and showering between excursions. Overall, a good option for visiting Mexico City.
"NUNCA VOLVERÍA. NOT CHEAP AND DO NOT HAVE THE EXPECTED QUALITY"
The hotel did not meet expectations. The rooms were small, and the bathrooms were poorly maintained—the shower capped, causing water to pool on the floor. On two occasions, instead of receiving hand towels, I was only given bath mats. During breakfast, I witnessed an elderly guest find an insect in her salad. The breakfast itself was limited, poorly stocked, and often cold, with small portions of cold cuts that were not replenished. I requested a complimentary late check-out as an NH Club member, which has been granted at other NH hotels, but it was refused, and they expected me to pay to stay until 7 PM. The hotel manager was never visible—unlike other NH properties where managers actively greet and interact with guests in the dining area. Overall, the experience was disappointing in terms of both maintenance and guest service.
"It is a comfortable hotel. I think I’ll use it again next time."
The hotel is perfectly located near the Zócalo, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and having a kettle in the room was a helpful touch. Room service meals were also delicious. This time, I included breakfast, but the bread and coffee were somewhat disappointing. Given the many nearby restaurants, including hotel breakfast may not be necessary. On a future stay, I might choose to skip it and enjoy local dining options instead.
"Rest in NH Collection Mexico City Centro Histórico"
There were several issues that impacted my stay. The bathroom had transparent doors—one that enclosed either the toilet or shower—offering no privacy at all. The minibar refrigerator was locked to the key, which made it impossible to store necessary items like medicine without calling the front desk. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes, slippers, and bathrobes were not provided, even for an additional cost. Breakfast was limited and lacked variety. While the hotel is conveniently located in the historical center, it felt unsafe to leave in the evening due to many homeless and marginalized people nearby. On the day of check-out, the reception staff asked a guest to accompany us to the restroom, but the attendant stayed inside herself, leaving us waiting outside—an unprofessional experience. Additionally, the room was very dark, which added to the overall discomfort. Overall, this stay fell short of basic expectations for comfort, privacy, and service.
"Breakfast experience"
Fernando and Erick were incredibly warm and friendly, always attentive and making sure my coffee was topped up. The breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of tasty options that made for a great start to the day.
"Clean and modern but noisy rooms"
Overall, the hotel is modern and clean, providing a comfortable environment. However, the shower pressure was very low, and rooms facing the road were extremely noisy. I had to insist on changing my room—almost threatening to book elsewhere—to get a quieter stay. Improvements in soundproofing and bathroom functionality would make the experience much better.
"Leisure trip to Mexico City DF, NH Centro Historico"
Overall, my experience was positive, though I noticed a few aspects that were not as good as during my previous stay a few years ago. Despite these minor changes, the visit was still enjoyable and met most of my expectations.
