Perfection in every detail. As a long-time Ferragamo fan, staying here was a no-brainer. The experience is luxurious, elegant, and truly unforgettable—a dream for anyone who appreciates the brand and refined hospitality.
"Memorable Stay"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooftop restaurant and bar were fantastic, offering an incredible view over the Spanish Steps—truly a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and our room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning on the rooftop was an absolute delight, with a great buffet of delicious items—a perfect way to start the day in Rome 🇮🇹.

Our stay at Portrait Roma was truly exceptional. The staff, facilities, food, and location were all outstanding, providing a perfect combination of luxury and comfort. What sets Portrait Roma apart is its friendly, welcoming atmosphere—an oasis in the heart of the city that allows you to fully enjoy Rome and experience it anew. "Great service and location"
This was our second stay at the Portrait in Rome, and we returned because of the amazing service. Thomas and the team were outstanding, remembering us from our first visit and assisting with restaurant reservations and other requests throughout the day. The service truly remains exceptional. The only reason for four stars instead of five is a slight disappointment with the lack of personal touches we remembered from our first stay. Previously, our room had personalized details like a photo of our dog on a mini iPad, favorite drinks in the fridge, and snacks we enjoyed. This time, the fridge was empty, and those small touches were missing—certainly not necessary, but appreciated on longer trips. Overall, the Portrait remains our favorite hotel in Rome. Its intimate size makes it feel like coming home, and the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of shopping and at the base of the Spanish Steps. We will definitely return.

Our experience at Portrait Roma was flawless from start to finish. The location is ideal, putting you in the heart of Rome, while the staff is exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. The highlight was the breathtaking panoramic terrace, offering an unforgettable view that made our stay truly special.
"Deluxe studio with balcony is bliss"
This hotel means so much to me that I chose to stay at Portrait Roma even though it required changing rooms every night. While moving rooms wasn’t ideal, the rooftop remains a truly special highlight of the hotel. My favorite is still the Deluxe Studio with its charming balcony, which I believe is the best room. That said, I found the penthouse overpriced—at €4,500 per night, it lacked the usual gifts and special attention you might expect at that price point. Additionally, we were frustrated when they tried to charge €100 for the golf cart tour, which had previously been promised free for stays of three nights. Despite these issues, the hotel’s charm and atmosphere still make it a place I love to return to.

The location, just steps from the Spanish Steps, is unbeatable. We enjoyed a comfortable and quiet suite, with a terrace offering breathtaking views for breakfast. Highly recommended—we would return without hesitation.

We truly enjoyed the breakfast here—high-quality food with a great variety. The rooftop view is exceptional, making it a perfect spot to start the day. The bed was very comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better, right next to the Hermes store and close to other shops. The room was a bit small, but the little kitchen was a helpful addition, especially for families.
"What a view"
A truly unique experience—seeing the Spanish Steps and the iconic “birthday cake” building from the rooftop was absolutely worth it. The service was excellent and very personalized, making the stay feel special. Of course, the views were simply impeccable, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
"Great Location, Very Stylish, but…"
The main draw of this hotel is its location in Rome’s premier shopping district. The rooms are very stylish and the service is exceptional, making you feel well cared for throughout your stay. However, the rooms are small, the windows face neighboring buildings, and there is no dedicated lounge area. The rooftop dining area and outdoor furniture help compensate, though this may be less convenient for large groups or in bad weather. Overall, a great spot for shopping, but we probably wouldn’t return.
