"Bad"

This hotel has potential with its beautiful pool, garden, and a perfect location. However, it is very much aging and in desperate need of renovation. The biggest downside was the hygiene. My room was so dirty that I struggled to sleep and was relieved it was only a 2-night stay. There was hair everywhere, which made me feel sick. When I raised this with the cleaning staff, I was told it was “because of the wind” – an unacceptable excuse for such poor cleanliness. This hotel needs a serious overhaul. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it and will never come back.

"All right."

A very good hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s well-equipped and the staff are attentive to every detail. The pool is great, and there’s convenient access to a private beach. The breakfast was excellent, and there are plenty of amenities and services offered, including a spa, gym, game room, and even a hairdresser.

"Worst staff ever!"

We have always enjoyed staying at Hotel Su in Antalya—it has been our favorite place for years. However, this time was a huge disappointment. The staff were extremely forgetful, and the cleaners left duvet covers just lying on the beds instead of making them properly. To make matters worse, on our last day we were falsely accused of taking several items from the minibar that we never even touched. The hotel manager handled the situation in an unprofessional and insulting way, choosing to trust their “system” over their guests. It felt like we were treated more like suspects than valued returning customers. Tip: If you don’t want to be charged for things you never used, make sure to check the minibar yourself on the first day and confirm everything is correct—because apparently, the staff don’t check it properly.

"More clinical than a clinic"

We stayed here for 6 nights while undergoing some dental surgery, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The hotel’s interior design is very striking—everything is bright white with red accents, mirrors everywhere, and red lights in the corridors. While it feels clinical and modern, it lacked warmth and wasn’t a particularly pleasant atmosphere to relax in. The pool is Olympic-sized and surrounded by padded white mattresses, which are also used in the bedrooms and main reception area. Unfortunately, if you’re hoping to find a comfortable chair to sit and read in any of the communal areas, you’ll be disappointed. Around the pool, loud, thumping music aimed at teenagers plays constantly, which makes it hard to unwind. The hotel’s beach bar, The Calypso, is beautifully set up, but again the excessively loud music runs all day and into the night. The bedrooms were comfortable but felt soulless. The bed is mounted on concrete blocks, which you need to step over at night—this felt like a real hazard. While the bedding, towels, and showers were all of high quality, the balcony design wasn’t ideal. It features a fixed bed (the same white mattress) that can’t be moved to follow the sun, and there are no chairs provided. On the positive side, the staff were exceptional—plentiful, friendly, and always helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive, with constant attention to detail. Breakfast was fantastic, though the red-and-mirror-filled breakfast room felt overwhelming. The Moonlight restaurant, in contrast, was much calmer and served lovely food. This hotel could be so much more relaxing with a few design changes: swapping the red for more elegant tones like taupe with charcoal accents, reducing the mirrors, adding some artwork, and replacing the loud music with something more soothing. Comfortable chairs in communal areas would also make a huge difference.

"Hotel Su must wear clients that only families with children can enjoy it"

We first visited Su Hotel in 2003 and loved it back then. In 2017, we stayed for one night and noticed that the hotel had declined. Last week, we decided to give it another chance for a short 2-day holiday, hoping improvements had been made. Unfortunately, we have decided not to return to Su Hotel again. Here’s why: 1️⃣ Pool Rules Not Enforced The hotel pool was full of small children, despite the sign clearly stating that children aged 0-6 are not allowed. Families seem to prefer the main pool over the aquapark, as it is more convenient for them. For hours, we had to listen to children aged 4-10 shouting, playing, and screaming to their parents or at each other. Hotel staff did nothing to enforce the rules, and even the lifeguard seemed hesitant to intervene. 2️⃣ Beach Club Noise and Extra Charges Seeking peace, we went to the KALYPSO Beach Club. Unfortunately, the area reserved for hotel guests was blaring extremely loud music. To make matters worse, the spaces closest to the beach required an additional fee. Instead of tranquility, we were caught between children yelling “mom” and “dad” on one side and non-stop acid techno music on the other—an unpleasant combination. 3️⃣ Lack of Dress Code in Dining Room In many hotels, guests are expected to follow a simple dress code for dinner, but this seems to have disappeared at Su Hotel. We were disappointed to see guests walking straight from the pool or beach into the dining room wearing shorts and slippers. Ironically, the hotel staff in the Red Hall were dressed much more neatly and professionally than some guests. 4️⃣ Room Issues We booked a Deluxe Sea View room and specifically requested it to be away from the elevator and machine room. However, upon arrival, we discovered our assigned room was right next to the elevator. The message about our request had not been passed on. Thankfully, the receptionist was professional and solution-oriented, helping us review alternative land-view rooms until we found a suitable one. ✅ Positives: Friendly and professional staff who tried their best to assist us. The open buffet was varied and delicious. While there were still some positive aspects, the lack of rule enforcement, noise issues, and overall decline in standards have left us very disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

"Beautiful Contemporary Hotel"

We stayed in a fabulous, spacious room—bright white, crisp, and exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfortable, and there was even an additional double bed on the balcony that was equally cozy. The bathroom was well-equipped with bathrobes and slippers, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was also a safe conveniently located in the wardrobe. The staff were hardworking and provided great customer service throughout our stay. We stayed on a half-board basis, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The hotel’s grand, contemporary entrance made a wonderful first impression. The huge pool with comfortable white beds was also a highlight. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, though I would describe it as average. However, what let this lovely hotel down for me were the interior design choices in certain areas. The corridors were dimly lit with hideous red lighting that created a dark and dingy atmosphere. Honestly, it gave the unsettling impression of walking towards a brothel—not something you’d expect in a 5-star hotel. The black carpets have also seen better days and added to the gloomy feel. This stark contrast in ambiance spoiled the otherwise beautiful white aesthetic of the hotel. I was also surprised that there was no entertainment team, which felt unusual for a 5-star property. While I understand it’s a city-centre hotel, the lack of entertainment created a quiet atmosphere with little sense of unity among guests. Overall, the hotel has many strengths and offers a luxurious experience in many ways, but small changes in design and atmosphere could elevate it even further.

"Nice surprise."

This was our second time staying here. Last year, we came as a group of three and had a wonderful experience with breakfast included—it was a great discovery for us with a young adult. This year, we returned and stayed on a half-board basis. The buffet in the morning and evening was excellent, offering a wide variety: plenty of salads, desserts, 2 to 7 main dish options each night, freshly prepared pasta, grilled vegetables, and more (it’s hard to even list it all!). The hotel’s spa and Aqualand right next door make it a true paradise for both young and old. There are also plenty of options for sports and fitness. The beach, included in the package, is just a 5-minute walk away—so convenient! We’ll definitely keep coming back.

"Good in things and bad in others"

The hotel is nice and very clean, but I found it inconvenient that you can’t charge services to your room and pay at the end of your stay—you’re required to pay for each service as you use it. We booked two massages at the spa, but unfortunately, the experience was very poor. The massage beds were uncomfortable, and the massages themselves were far from relaxing. To make matters worse, the spa reception didn’t even ask for any feedback afterwards. On the positive side, the restaurant and food were excellent, and the pool bar was nice and clean, though the food options there weren’t the best. I had also requested a sea view room but was instead given a room facing the aquapark, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel has some good aspects but left us with mixed feelings.
