"No Suite Upgrade This Time, Yet an Excellent Overall Stay"
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City as a Globalist. While I didn’t receive a suite upgrade on this visit, the overall elite benefits were still very solid. The breakfast selection was extensive and well prepared, and the evening service in the club lounge was a real highlight, offering a light yet satisfying self-serve dinner—perfect after a long day exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable, though the décor and style felt slightly dated. Even so, the service throughout the stay was consistent, professional, and attentive. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Mexico City is a dependable choice, especially for Globalists, with excellent food offerings and reliable service.
"I went to conferences."
The hotel is located in a great area, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I appreciated that breakfast was included, which added convenience to the stay. The only downside was that check-in isn’t available until 3 p.m., which can be a bit inconvenient for early arrivals.
"Best hotel experience yet"
My wife and I agree that this was our best hotel experience yet, and we’ve traveled extensively. Previously, a 5-star hotel in Kyoto held that title, but the Hyatt Regency Mexico City surpassed all expectations. The property is incredibly beautiful and comfortable, and the location is ideal—situated in the vibrant and trendy Polanco neighborhood, which adds even more appeal. An unforgettable stay!
"One more in Hyatt Regency polanco"
Overall, this was a very good stay. The hotel has a superb location, renovated rooms, and great rates. My only concern is with the reception staff, who have been consistently unpleasant during our last four visits. I require a ground-floor room for health reasons, and each time the request is met with a condescending and frustrating attitude. Aside from this issue, everything else about the stay was excellent.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with every area of the property spotless. The rooms and common spaces were pristine, creating a comfortable and inviting environment. Breakfast was a true highlight—fresh, plentiful, and of excellent quality, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day perfectly. Overall, a very satisfying stay.
"Great location and breakfast buffet."
The hotel is in a fantastic location—within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the park, and nearby museums. We stayed in a spacious, clean suite, and the clubroom was also roomy with a good evening selection. Breakfast at the buffet downstairs offered plenty of variety and choices. However, the staff service was just average and could have been friendlier. A surprising issue arose when I requested a late check-out as a Globalist; I was told suites are not eligible, which is unusual since I’ve stayed in suites at other Hyatt properties without any problem. Overall, a solid stay thanks to the location and accommodations, but service and policies could use some improvement.

Excellent stay! The hotel is modern, stylish, and conveniently located, making it easy to explore the city. The food is very good, and guests can enjoy several discounts on services as well as flexible restaurant hours. A comfortable and convenient choice for any stay.
"Nice stay"
My stay was for leisure and was generally enjoyable. The hotel was clean (4/5) and the facilities were nice. I stayed in two rooms—while in the first room with two beds, I experienced itching and noticed small welts, though moving to the second bed resolved the issue. It’s unclear whether this was caused by insects or an isolated reaction. Aside from that, everything was fine, and the remainder of the stay was pleasant. Room service was consistently good, though I didn’t catch the names of the staff unless I specifically asked. Overall, a comfortable and satisfactory experience.

I visit Mexico City every other month, and the Hyatt Regency Polanco has become my trusted home base. The service is consistently outstanding—welcoming, proactive, and professional. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and spotless, with comfortable beds and well-designed workspaces. Amenities are business-friendly and meticulously maintained. The Executive Club Lounge is a highlight, offering panoramic city views and a calm setting to work or unwind. The hotel’s location in Polanco is ideal for meetings and exploring the neighborhood. The only minor drawback is the on-site dining, which can feel a bit bland, so I often venture to nearby restaurants for more adventurous flavors. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Polanco is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I keep returning for the exceptional service, comfort, and those unforgettable views.

What a pleasant surprise for a New Year’s Eve trip in such an amazing part of Mexico City. The experience was memorable, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a special stay in the city!
