"Nice hotel near the metro, but safety concern in the."
We are a family of four, and we stayed at this hotel in July 2025 for a family trip. Overall, it is a nice hotel, but there were some notable concerns. On the positive side, the location is excellent, with a metro station right behind the hotel, allowing quick access to the city within 20 minutes. The entrance is inviting and spacious, and our room had a somewhat modern style. The beds were low but comfortable, some featuring a full-wall cushioned headboard, which was a nice touch. The bathroom had a modern black-and-white design, and the view from our third-floor room included part of the freeway, which is typical for a good deal on the rate. However, there were significant negatives, particularly in the bathroom and shower area. The shower/tub curtain stuck to you while showering, which was both unhygienic and annoying. Additionally, the shower floor was extremely slippery, and there were no grab handles or safety supports, making it challenging and potentially dangerous, especially for shorter guests. The tub was high, adding to the difficulty of safely entering and exiting. While the newer rooms reportedly have showers only, it is important for the hotel to address these safety concerns in older rooms, as they pose a real risk. In summary, while the hotel has a great location and some modern features, the bathroom design and safety issues are a major drawback that should be addressed.
"Paris at the Hyatt Regency"
The hotel offers breathtaking views of Paris from the 34th-level bar, making it a memorable spot to relax and enjoy the city skyline. The breakfast bar was excellent, with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day. While the rooms were somewhat minimalist in design, they were very clean and provided pleasant views of the city, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
"Excellent Welcoming"
We received an excellent welcome from Tristan and his new collaborator, whose name I unfortunately did not catch. Special thanks to Théophile for her kindness and helpful advice. The team throughout our stay was dynamic, professional, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. Our room with an Eiffel Tower view was simply magnificent, adding a truly memorable touch to our visit.
"Ideal business hotel"
The hotel impresses with very caring and attentive staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate a gluten-free diet. Our room was spotless, well-equipped, and offered a beautiful view, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bar was charming, though quite busy, and the staff seemed slightly overrun at times; still, their thoughtfulness and genuine care made the experience truly pleasant.
"Value for Money"
I stayed at this hotel for business meetings during the Paris Airshow 2025 and was impressed by its cleanliness, supportive staff, and overall value for money. The food and breakfast were outstanding, and the location is convenient, with easy access to public transport via Metro and RER stations connected directly to the venue. The only minor drawback was the elevator system: with many floors and a somewhat confusing calling setup, there were occasional delays. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for business travelers seeking comfort and convenience.
"Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile"
This was my repeat stay at a large hotel next to Palais des Congrès, and it continues to impress. The location is excellent, with the Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and Eiffel Tower all nearby, along with plenty of restaurants and easy taxi access. My room facing the Eiffel Tower offered a spectacular view, including a partial view of the Arc de Triomphe. The rooms are comfortable and generously sized for the price, with good housekeeping. The hotel is undergoing renovations floor by floor, but the modern elevators make moving around efficient. Breakfast offers a massive and delicious spread, and the high-floor bar provides panoramic views of Paris. A convenient lobby kiosk is available for drinks, snacks, and essentials. What stands out most is the exceptional service from the front desk and concierge, who are efficient, professional, and attentive. Overall, it’s a very nice stay combining convenience, comfort, and excellent service.
"Medicore stay when expecting a Hyatt experience."
The hotel benefits from a good location and offers an excellent view from the upstairs lounge at night, making it visually appealing. However, the lobby felt loud and unwelcoming, and the concierge came across as very snobbish. The bus unloading process and cab accommodations were poorly managed, and drinks in the upstairs lounge were very overpriced. While the views are impressive, the service and overall experience leave much to be desired.
"Good facility, get guest bookings right"
The hotel benefits from a good location, excellent facilities, and attentive service. However, there was a significant issue with honoring room bookings. We were initially placed in a handicapped-accessible room, which we had not requested — and this was the second time this has happened at a Hyatt property without prior consent. Although we were eventually moved to a standard room, the mix-up caused major inconvenience and disrupted our stay.
"Overall ok stay"
The hotel is slightly outside the city center, but easy access to the metro makes getting around convenient. Rooms were clean, though the bathroom felt cramped with limited counter space for toiletries. Breakfast was good, offering a nice selection of breads, pastries, fruits, and salad; however, the omelet station could be crowded, and the scrambled eggs were sometimes soupy or unappetizing. The staff added thoughtful touches, recognizing our anniversary with a chocolate cake and a voucher for two glasses of champagne at the Window Bar, which was a lovely gesture. On the other hand, service for our globalist status was inconsistent. While we were informed about complimentary water at check-in, we were not notified about the club lounge access, and our keys initially did not allow entry. We only discovered the lounge midway through our stay, which could have impacted room charges if known earlier. Overall, a good hotel with some areas for improvement in guest communication.
"Beautiful hotel, very noisy surroundings"
This beautiful hotel is ideally located within a short walk of the Arc de Triomphe and the Paris Congress Centre, making it perfect for both sightseeing and business travel. The property is spotless, with great service and excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a “to-go” coffee shop and market, a lovely restaurant, and a rooftop bar with panoramic views of Paris. Guests also have access to a shopping centre and cinema via the lifts. The meeting rooms (“labs”) are spacious, with natural light, ample power outlets, and plenty of water — ideal for business needs. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring essentials like an iron, kettle, mini fridge, and bottled water. The main drawback is noise: the hotel is situated on a busy road near a major roundabout and tram stop, resulting in continuous traffic sounds and honking throughout the night and even during meetings. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it can be disruptive and affect sleep or work concentration. Overall, the hotel offers excellent service, facilities, and location, but noise levels should be considered.
