"Good value for money but could be better !"

The rooms at this hotel were clean, with comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning, though both the room and bathroom were quite small. The corridor outside our room had a noticeable chlorine smell, reminiscent of a swimming pool. The front desk staff were not very welcoming and rarely smiled, which affected the overall hospitality. On the positive side, the location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk to the MRT station, a 5-minute walk to a nearby bus stop, and only 12 minutes on foot to Lumphini Park.

"Good hotel, but staff need adequate training for manners"

This hotel offers a reasonable price with functional amenities. The room lacks a wardrobe but provides hangers for clothes. TV channels work well, and both the room and bathroom are brightly lit—ideal for those putting on makeup. The breakfast buffet has a good variety and quality. However, service at breakfast raised concerns. As a Malaysian guest, I was asked to show my room number before accessing the buffet, while European guests were not asked the same, which felt like unequal treatment. Staffing at the entrance was likely limited, but such inconsistencies can leave a negative impression. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near One Bangkok mall and a long stretch of street food, just 350 meters away via a pedestrian bridge, making it easy to explore local dining options.

"Too crowded, showing signs of tear and wear everywhere"

This hotel used to be a decent option at €25, but at €54, it now feels severely overpriced. The new staff seem inexperienced, and while breakfast is good for an Ibis—with warm food and croissants that actually taste like croissants—the rest of the experience is mediocre at best. The hotel shows clear signs of overtourism, with suitcases left in public areas and overcrowded spaces. Smoking in rooms by some guests went unchecked, which was frustrating. Maintenance is lacking, and there are very few outlets in the rooms—just one USB near the bed—which is inconvenient. The streets outside are also dangerous due to the absence of sidewalks. Overall, the combination of poor service, overcrowding, and safety concerns makes this hotel a disappointing choice. I would not return and would revise my rating from 4 stars last year to 2.

"Great Food and Service"

I had a truly memorable experience at the hotel’s restaurant. The food quality and service surpassed what I’ve experienced in many 5-star hotels in the US and Europe. The menu changes daily, including the stir-fried dishes, keeping each visit fresh and exciting. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. Khun Pattarawarin stood out for her attentiveness and dedication to every guest request. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys her work and embodies the spirit of true hospitality. Her exceptional service was the highlight of my stay and made the dining experience unforgettable.

"Affordable hotel for traveler with pets"

I stayed here for two nights after attending a large cat show in Nonthaburi, and found it to be an affordable option for travelers with pets. One tip: make sure to remind the front desk staff to clean your room, as they may not do so even if the “clean room” sign is displayed. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, including Japanese, Indian, and shabu-shabu options, and there’s a 7-Eleven nearby for quick snacks. Traffic in the area can be heavy, especially during rush hour, so plan your outings and shopping trips accordingly. Overall, it’s a convenient and budget-friendly choice for pet owners.

"Convenient Location for Exploring Sathorn and Lumpini"

This hotel is ideally located for exploring the Sathorn area and Lumpini Park. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the MRT Lumpini Station, making city travel easy. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of dining options right outside, including a 7-Eleven and nearby restaurants, adding to the convenience.

"Not Quite The Ibis I was Expecting."

This Ibis hotel offers a comfortable and well-equipped stay just a 10-minute walk from Lumphini MRT station on the Blue Line. The twin rooms are thoughtfully designed with extra pillows, clever open-plan furniture including a fridge and mini safe, good Wi-Fi, AC, and a TV with hundreds of multi-language channels. Higher floors offer reasonable city views. Guests can enjoy onsite breakfast, a bar, a restaurant, and self-collect room service. The rear street is lined with food outlets and a 24-hour 7-Eleven. From Lumphini MRT (Exit 2), there’s a small food mall with Starbucks and a Boots pharmacy. The location is convenient for exploring: one stop to Silom for Patpong Night Market, four stops to Wat Mangkon in Chinatown, and an easy 30-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride to Khaosan Road. Some drawbacks include the lack of mention of the free shuttle service to nearby MRT and BTS stations during check-in, and limited power options in the room—a single poorly designed double 2-pin socket and a weak USB outlet. The shower occasionally fluctuated between hot and cold. Unusually, the hotel requested a 1,000 Baht security deposit at check-in, which was not advertised at booking and may be inconvenient for travelers on a tight budget. Despite these issues, the hotel remains a solid choice for a convenient Bangkok stay.

"Two Nights"

This hotel is conveniently located on Sathon Road, with easy access to MRT Lumphini and One Bangkok, and close to Frans’ restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent, and the croissants are especially enjoyable. However, the staff spoke very casually, more like friends than professional service, which may not suit everyone’s expectations.

"Hotel in a quiet location and well-kept rooms"

The reception staff at this hotel were very disappointing—there was no greeting, no smile, and it felt like we were a disturbance just for asking questions. For a hotel environment, basic courtesy from the front desk is essential, and this was lacking. On the positive side, the restaurant staff were wonderful, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Special praise goes to the chef, who personally took the time to explain the various Thai dishes in detail. Her attentiveness and knowledge truly enhanced our dining experience.

"Small hotel in a quiet location"

This small hotel, located in a peaceful area, served as the perfect starting point for our round trip. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Its location is ideal, within walking distance to both Lumpini Park and the MRT station, making it convenient for exploring the city.
