"Good Position and Good Value for a sleeping place but that is it"
The best aspects of this Ibis are its position and cost. Service was average and not particularly helpful, while breakfast was reasonable but nothing special. Rooms were bare but featured a great bed and a clean bathroom. Internet was slow but consistent. Lifts were quick, and it’s about a 14-minute walk to the sea in an interesting part of Lima. Easy transport access with taxis and a train station right across the road.
"Lower than average hotel."
While the hotel looks modern, our room was very small with no fridge or microwave. The shower had almost no water pressure, making it difficult to wash properly, and there was no handheld shower head. Amenities were minimal—no complimentary soap, just a bottle of shampoo. The AC rattled loudly all night, making it hard to sleep. Breakfast was underwhelming, with no orange juice, only bland alternatives, and cold waffles and pancakes with no way to reheat them. Overall, style didn’t make up for the lack of comfort or convenience.
"Very good for a very reasonable price."
A perfect Lima hotel in a safe area with plenty of restaurants nearby. Very good value for money with no surprises—just the consistent Ibis standards. Comfortable bedding, convenient bathroom, and a dependable choice for a short stay.
"Very good and well located compliant"
The Ibis chain is always reliable, and this one stands out for its excellent location, surrounded by hotels, restaurants, and shops—everything within easy reach. We booked an extra-large room (300 soles/night including taxes) and were pleased it had a Smart TV for Netflix, though not all rooms do. The bed was warm and comfortable, Wi-Fi worked well, and the breakfast buffet was good. Staff service was excellent despite the busy tourist crowd. I’ll definitely keep choosing Ibis wherever I travel.
"Just Ok"
Stayed for 7 days—hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location within walking distance to Barranco and Larcomar. Rooms are compact but comfortable, and breakfast was good. Unfortunately, most of the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed by guests, with only a few exceptions. Luggage service is self-handled, and the taxi desk operator was inefficient—better to use Uber. Security guards and some buffet staff appeared unapproachable. Overall, fine for a place to sleep, but not for those expecting warm service.
"Compact room but comfortable"
Rooms are very small with a compact bathroom, but the bed was very comfortable. Overall a very basic setup that serves its purpose. Paid around $75 without breakfast. Location isn’t the most convenient for immediate access to shops or restaurants. An average choice suitable for budget travelers.
"Great value"
This budget-friendly hotel offers a great central location and friendly, English-speaking reception staff available 24/7. The lobby is inviting, and the dining area—though small—serves a good variety of food at set times. There’s also a reasonably priced bar with TVs showing sports. My 13th-floor room was basic but comfortable, with wooden floors, an open wardrobe, a small desk, and effective air-conditioning. The bed was good, though the lighting felt a bit harsh, and there were no in-room drink facilities. Noise from the street was noticeable despite being on a high floor. The bathroom was spacious, with plenty of counter space, decent toiletries, and some of the softest hotel towels I’ve ever used, although the extractor fan was loud. Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable, and well-located option that I’d happily stay at again for good value.
"Nice hotel in good area"
The hotel is in a good area, but the rooms are on the small side and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both fine, though restaurant service was slow—staff were often absent, leading to long waits to be seated and to get the check. Reception staff, however, were very friendly and polite, which helped make the stay more pleasant overall.
"Disappointing experience"
Although the hotel is well located, the experience was disappointing. The reception staff were rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to help—no greeting upon arrival. Rooms are small with very limited hygiene products, and the bathrooms have an unpleasant odor mixed with soap. Towels were in terrible condition, old and nearly gray. Unfortunately, the good location doesn’t make up for the poor service and lack of upkeep.
"great stay in Lima"
I love Ibis hotels for their comfortable beds and clean rooms, and this one didn’t disappoint. Located in a prime spot in Lima’s Miraflores district, it’s surrounded by plenty to do within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent, and the customer service was great.
"Good hotel beware of the AA"
The hotel is in a great location—close to the mall, boardwalk, and plenty of dining options. My room (873) had small but comfortable space, though the old air conditioning unit leaked and made noise even after being checked. As with all Ibis hotels, breakfast was good, though very crowded on Sunday. Staff were very kind and welcoming.
"Modern Functional Rooms"
Good option for business travelers or short trips, with very affordable pricing. Rooms can feel cramped for two, and bathroom amenities are minimal—just one soap and one shampoo, with towels a bit old and worn. There was construction on the upper floor during the stay, which caused some noise. Breakfast was acceptable with healthy choices. Location is great, with several restaurants and a grocery store nearby.
